What would you be happy with ?. I suppose with the cars low mileage and successive dealer service stamp it would be nice to keep it up . Its not like you wont get a proper job done by a reliable mechanic so no problems there . Most of the cars on here are serviced by their owners or ,as said a reliable mechanic who knows the car and looks after it , they both do the same as a VW mechanic so theres no difference really . As said though later on if you wanted to sell it ,it may go along way with some buyers . Rob

Yes i believe this was what was replaced on mine . Unfortunatly i dont have the part no , as the car was in the bodyshop when the screen came out for a respray and it was them who purchased and replaced both pillars for me . Rob

Good luck with the mot Wullie .
-
Hi Jon , hoping everything is ok for your new screen fitting . Should you have any problems the pillars are still available from VW . Just saying , hopefully you won't need them ! .

Never heard of this , not that im an expert on g60's , this does sound like a missprint though?. There are left hookers around obviously. There were a few g60 jets around which are very rare , these had the leather purple and black seats , the colours were something like that anyway .They were made for the german market only as far as im aware and were limited edition . Engine wise a g60 is a g60 , someone will correct me if im wrong im sure .

Looking great matt , looking forward to seeing it later in the week . -
Interesting I could do with one of those , mine is very scratched .dont know anything about these though .

I think your cable needs adjusting , if you undo the adjuster a little bit and pull the cable wire around 5 or 8 mm , then re tighten it should release ok .
-
Would agree with the tyres , also how good are they , i have cheap tyres on mine and the drone from the front is terrible , sounds just like the bearings are shot , but as you say there is no play at all .

Can't believe how much hassle it is to get the right ones ! . Two sets I've had from Vw and none of them fit . I don't understand , if you order mk4 golf mats , they should go into a mk4 ! . Will have to take the car down next week before I drive away with a third set . This one will go down in history ..... its a mk5 thats why !.I have never taken much notice of her car and when i ordered them she said its a mk4 What a numpty , how stupid am i going to look now when i go back down there .

Went to Murray Volkswagen today to pick up some mats for the mrs golf . I hadn't even got out the car before i was surrounded some mechanics and sales reps . One rep who was an older bloke said he remembers selling the corrado's , he sat in the drivers side and said , what a car , timeless shape and thankyou for letting me have a look . Made my day .

Hi Cazza . Obviously you have checked for correct spark . So fueling is the problem . I would get a fuel pressure check it will save alot of money , i wish i had done so first . This will rule out everything from the rail back . When i had mine in the garage recently after trying to sort it myself , the bloke said to me i doubt very much it will be the injectors . The first problem was the temp sender , the second was the fuel pressure regulator was on its way out . My vr is now running as normal . Hope this helps . Rob

robrado974 replied to bendunstan's topic in Members Gallery
Looks dbp yes . I can't remember the code off hand , but there is a thread in the search for colours and codes . You will find the code in the engine bay , left hand side near the headlight , or in the boot near the lock . -

Looks a very nice , tidy car . How much did you offer him !! lol . Where in Devon did the car come from . Welcome to the forum . -
The Henry I have has the secondary switch for more suction , if it pulls clients carpets up when I'm finishing a job it's powerful enough alright .
-
Real bummer . Sadly there will always be scum around that will steal other people's property .
-
Henry wins every time for me , very powerful and built to last .
-
There can't be many left with that sort of mileage ! . Nice purchase ,a few more pics please .

Thanks James that would be great . Rob
