can be done ,but yea the panel has the slots in different place .ive got the early 16v grill on mine ,one of the tabs should be in the right place the others need to be carefully cut off, then plastic weld or something simular the others in the right place .

if you catch the w####r doin it i recomend the perpertrators hand being held on the edge of the curb while a mate brings a hammer down onto it ....several times ,these t#####s deserve nothing less .

this happend to er indoors when she bought a car ,the bloke said my mechanic has just serviced it !!! she drove it back ,got home n said drives nice but pen n inks of oil ,he had done the same thing :( engine was covered in oil.

ok had auto electrician round ,he said there must be a leak somewhere as door locks with a key , we checked the passenger door and seems to be ok no air leaks. the pump is overrunning . have checked for leak around pump there was a very small hiss but not enough to not make passenger door fail to lock. he said tbh i dont want to go looking for the leak without out me being there as it has just been resprayed and he said he was crappin himself about removing carpets n stuff and damaging the car ! he also checked petrol cap aswell seemed to be fine , is there any obvious place to start to look ? thanks rob

mmm. i used there products .i have original leather rears and porka front seats that were grey ,i wanted to repaint to black . when i ordered my stuff the geezer said would you like satin or gloss finish? ,i wanted satin he said the finish is no difference to how hard it wares , yet within two weeks the piping has worn back to grey .i then found out that you have to put gloss finish on hard wearing areas ,then satin on top , wish i had known this !now have to respray them .however i regularly have my kids in the car in the rear seats and they are fine .

took my rubbers off for respray , one of them has gone back on straight as a die the other is giving me grief it has a kink in the middle , what has been the best product to re-seal them with that anyone can recomend ? thanks rob

as above :shock: mine is up in the air compared to most c's n i still cant get it up or down the drive without the dreaded scrapping of the splitter :(

halfords do one that fits with the bendy arm , make sure you get the one that has the spring clip in the top ,to get hold of plug . nothin worse than thinkin it must be undone by now having a look and the plug is lyin in the hole at an angle thats a pain to get it out :mad2:
