Mine stayed virtually the same for the 5 years I was with them. I can't comment about claims as I have never had the need on the car . I had mine under a classic policy . I've moved to another insurer now, as they were cheaper.

Bummer !, had the same with the wishbone bolt, sheared off inside the subframe. Yes it's a good car Easy, but I've got some nasty rust issues now , six years after a repaint . These will only deteriorate further and I have no funds to sort it .

Sadly I've done nothing since. Poor old beasty is sat on the drive in bits . I have all the new parts but no time to fit them . It has crossed my mind weather to sell or break .

Yeah as cressa says Easy , me and Rog removed it from the subframe and used a strap to hold it up in the air.

Put the pipe into a jam jar .

You could remove the fuel line where it connects to the rail . Crank it and check for fuel . From memory I think the bottom pipe is the non return.

It will fit and it's the correct switch for your car . There was only two types, early and late. It's a late switch.

Someone did the Corrado Forum stickers , this was way back though. Pm one of the mods , they will know .

Why the extra hanger ? , so it fits a Golf VR too? .

I've got a jetex on mine too, I didn't fit it but there were no problems at the manifold end . The only problem I had was it came with an extra hanger?. It was in the middle section, I cut it off as it was banging on the underside. This was seven years ago though ,they may be different now.

Thanks Chris . I wouldn't rush in to it or anything. What worries me is the rust, there's no way I can pay to get that sorted and it can only get worse .
