  1. Speedline Comp2's like I used to run on my old G60... 16", 6 spoke like Solitudes... but look a bit more purposeful :)
  2. Apparently you can clean them but any cleaning is normally a temporary measure - once the MAF is on the way out, that's normally it and only a brand new one will give you any permanent results :(
  3. Original Corrado badges in primer are still available from VW I believe..
  4. Probably another stupid scene "thing" like hanging tat off the rear tow eyelet.

    G60 woes :-(

Absolutely the filter can cause this. If you think that it sits in line with the fuel system and if it's ancient, clogged up, blocked then it will starve the flow of fuel especially under load when the flow of fuel will increase.
  6. Sauntered into my local Tesco - no queue, most pumps available - and brimmed the VR. No problem! BP garage further up the road into Warwick was chaos though, bizarrely.
  7. You need to get on the phone to the breakdown company and find out exactly what you're paying for if they won't take your car to a garage when it's broken. I thought that was what a breakdown company DID FFS.. who are you with Jake?
  8. Superb! Nice work... there's a few Corrado TDI's on here now... :)
  9. Mine's not a twin-air! (bit pricey for me!)
  10. Hm... I need to get the VR filled up as it's pretty empty :( This is bad timing. Can only hope that everyone is too tight to fill up with Super / Optimax and that there will be plenty left in my location stations!
  11. Does look like a huge time waster unfortunately.. why do people do this. Hope you manage to find him at a show and give him a slap!
  12. Thermal - can we have an update please?

    Remap a VR6??

If you ever come to any of the meets I'm at, I'll take you out for a spin in mine with cams and remap and see if you think it makes a difference!
  14. Seriously this has to be one of the best Corrado's around for sale at the moment and is a bargain at this price. I can't tell you how many times I've thought of buying this and moving my VR on.
  15. Well that's what I thought it was mate.. I did a search through his post history to try and find unapproved posts but couldn't see any?
  16. Drop CazzaVR a PM mate to confirm you're on the membership list. We can sort you out with a replacement one if you are, and it didn't show up.
  17. I'm a little confused that any of your posts wouldn't have been approved if, as you say, they're just normal replies and not spam and so forth. Could you link me to some of the threads where your posts have been deleted from? It's just possible they were not approved because a Moderator was not around at the time and then slipped down the list of threads with recent replies and just overlooked.
  18. I know I'm capable of handling stuff with care to ensure it wouldn't get damaged in transit and storage - sure whoever else picked it up from down there could do the same! :)
  19. Could you get someone local to pick it up for you - e.g. scarlet_vr6 who lives in that area? I could collect it from her at the AGM and then bring it up to Elsecar with me the following week.

    Mountain Bikes

Yeah - second hand is the way forward. Get onto the forums at BikeRadar and look out for a bargain...
  21. The difference being of course that I'd much rather crash in my Fiat 500 (or any modern car) than I would my Corrado... ---------- Post added at 8:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 8:52 AM ---------- Hah - the Corrado roof is almost level with the base of the windscreen on the X5!!

    Remap a VR6??

Tis a fairly expensive job... I reckon for cams and a remap and all the labour you probably wouldn't get much change from a grand... but I have a set of Schimmel Performance 263 cams in mine and a DG remap to compliment it, and it feels fantastic!
  23. Looks fantastic Jay! You must be pleased with the weekends hard work?
