  1. Hehe... That I don't know :)
  2. Looking forward to the Corrado episode. Been involved with the production team on and off throughout the process so know what kinds of issues they have been working to resolve. And the 'pristine' used to start the show is a well known forum car so will be great to see it on TV. Most definitely will be getting Sky+'d :)
  3. JMR gets my vote too. If I had a G60 still he is who I would be going to for any rebuild work on the charger :)
  4. Yeah you stand to f@ck the timing up as I believe only the smallest amount of adjustment can affect timing quite substantially? So not sure I'd be in a hurry to remove it unless I had a timing gun for reinstallation!
  5. Lovely :) And you're right about the smell - I think all classics have the same. Leather... wood... oil.... it's quite heady :)
  6. If it's like my first 2.0 16v which I used to have many years ago pretty sure that had the original rotor arm still fitted and yes, it was glued in place. The only way to remove it was to hack saw it a bit, and crush it with pliers and pick the remaining bits off before I could replace it :(
  7. Super duper. Can't wait to see them.
  8. No way of getting any injectors out without taking the manifold off from what I can see :( Though removing the manifold isn't too bad a chore to be honest!
  9. Any progress on the VR6 grille badges mate? :)

    Duo style gauges

Be kind of cool if they could do one that was the oil pressure and voltage, on a single unit - as a more compact and more affordable alternative to the classic gauges that live in the binnacle hole.
  11. Pretty sure folks who've gone in the past have booked on the day with no issues :) I'm still planning to come down to this :) Hope the weather behaves!
  12. Wonder if it's worth getting a fuel pressure test done?

    Duo style gauges

    They're a pretty cool idea :)
  14. It is green but it's fair to say it's a brighter green than the faded / tired instrumentation in most Corrado's now! But it definitely is green and does match very well :) If you need a new headlight switch, these are a no brainer.

    My -91 G60

I did think that but wasn't sure if Aqua Blue was a 91 colour? Bit confused :)

    My -91 G60

Welcome to the forum! Looks lovely!! What colour is that? Hard to tell from the pictures.. any chance of the paint code / name?
  17. What the juddering f@ck. And to think that was probably a dealer / dealer sanctioned installation job as well.
  18. Did you not get any copy of your deeds that shows the boundaries of your property?
  19. Yeah so on the single peg end there is a little clip that slides over to anchor it into place. So you need to use a big screwdriver to push the clip backwards then you can lift the cover up and off.
  20. Oh. I did mine without the need to remove any trim... just unclipped the plastic cover over it (where it's held down by the rubber strip / weather seal) further forward in the engine bay.. and was then able to reach into the scuttle area with a large screwdriver to undo the clip holding the foliage cover in place. It was a bit of a fiddle but totally do-able.
  21. Put it on a piece of paper / card, draw around it inside and out... measure thickness.... job jobbed? :)
  22. To be fair, of all the bits and pieces that have gone obsolete over the years, this will probably be one of the less difficult ones to duplicate when it does vanish :)
  23. Yep - bought that foam gasket for the foliage cover last year without any issues.
  24. Yeah - just take your time and find something that's been looked after. They say at that kind of budget just buy on condition and forget about a full history... but if there's no receipts for work done, and it's on ditch finder tyres... then walk away. Just go back to basics and give it a good going over.
  25. My vote would be for something Japanese - a Honda Civic or something like that? Or an old Merc? (like early 90's) - they're absolute tanks!
