Mate, first off, it's not really a dilemma. The 993 is a wonderful machine. Personally I had a corrado as I've always been in love with the car, so I'm blind to any negatives towards them, and selling will always be a loss. I brought a boxster s then quickly progressed to a 993, I'm not going to rave on how your life is less without one, but it is. Amazing car, and I can't wait for the next step. Porsche and vw are as one, IMO. Find a good specialist and servicing costs are negligible, tyres are costly, so obviously is fuel. I use mine as a daily, just 8 miles a day, plus a little weekend use will see £78 of super, gone in ten days. But I drive it without much care. This time of year with no traction control often leaves a strange taste in your mouth, and that flat exhaust note is great! My advice, just go for it, if its not for you then you'll not loose a penny if you keep up the maintenance :)

VR6 it was a little while ago that I ordered them but I'm pretty sure they were from the seller in the link below, mine where 8.5" x 17 with tyres and bbs caps. Wheel design looks the same though. That and a coat of C5 and they should do you ok :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140820900435;jsessionid=C442D658FE9EC9E1A057F8246FD50E2C?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D140820900435%26_rdc%3D1#ht_4359wt_825

Mine are reps and i've been more then happy with them cost around £600 with tyres and have not suffered any ill effects after 8 months of use. Originals would be great but without having them refurbished most sets are looking tired now. Was offered a set of originals for £900, though they needed refurbishing. Not knocking anyone who spends more on wheels then the car is worth, but personally i'd be gutted if i curbed a set of £1500 alloys!!

Ferrari f430 replica body kit group buy? Final Numbers!
iR6 replied to EJ Taylor's topic in Forum Group-Buys
I have a Yamaha RD 125, I think with a few pieces of wood I can pack it out and make it fit. Put me down for two kits please, as in the future I may well build a F430 side car to go with it :) -
Yup, id second that, not normally one to pick at anothers work, whatever floats your boat and all that.....but fu*king hell man what are you doing?!!! His neighbours must be scared to get eye contact with the man! And as for 'sounds amazing like the real deal when at the right revs' ?!! The only time thats going to sound like a Ferrari is when the keys are out of the ignition!!

Haha, only I am at that level of boredom!! :)

Would be nice, though rest assured that as far as medals per population goes we're top of the table. If China only had 60 million people to choose from instead of 1.3 billion, they'd be no where!

Jesus! Hope there ok!

The parts scanner is cool. Big article about the Replicator 3D printer in this months PPC magazine. Soon we'll download cad files for parts and just print them at home :)

Welcome chap, don't leave your second post until 2018!

Yes theres been the odd sprint car, though was thinking more along the lines of a successful works rally / touring or single make race series (Corrado cup :) ) Though am fully aware that vw would never have backed this, just that it would have really given the corrado the classic status we are talking about. For me seeing the Quattros and Stratos today evokes strong memories of youth and classic motorsport. The Corrado I can only really remember reading about as a Top gear review. And nostalgia = classic car status.
-
Its a shame the Corrado has next to no motorsport heritage, as thats a sure way to classic status.

Looks really nice mate, loving the first black & white pic of the rear :thumbleft:

Giving it a weekend wash, when two young lads walked past, one said to the other, 'that cars wicked', 'what is it?' replied the other, 'dunno but my dad said its well rare!'.... 'Its the car i want when i'm older' They then stabbed me with a screwdriver and stole the car.....but the comments were nice :D
