if they find out anything is out of place, they will invalidate the insurance for the entire duration of the policy, back to the first day you opened it. will they refund your money? no. i've heard of someone being denied for not claiming EXHAUST mods, so surely a supercharger would do it. on the other hand, i've never declared shit all to the insurance company regarding mods, they've never asked. however, if they say "what modifications have been done to the car" or anything like that, then you have to tell them or you're just asking for trouble.

i've had two vtec CRXs try to give me a run in the G60. i've never had the G60 setup 'quite right' and its still no contest. the CRX would be hummin like an overrevved lawnmower, disappearing in the rearview. every time i pass a CRX they STARE at the corrado. heh heh. seems CRX owners like the small 3-door style.. but don't have the cash for a corrado or something.

there's no reassurance. i've had mine 2 yrs and ive never been able to fully enjoy it because of other financial obligations. if you dont have the cash to maintain a porsche i wouldnt think of a corrado as a dailt driver unless it was owned by a real enthusiast or you're feeling damn lucky. it *will* suck your funds.

leave that grill.. or get the debadged version of it! lookin good :)

nice bodywork can be done on any car at a price. why throw money at a car to make it look like another *far more plentiful car*??? the corrado is so limited and parts are becoming scarce, they get smashed up, etc... why would you want to make yours look like any old grocery getter A4 golf? an NX-lookin corrado golf... if you want a golf, buy a golf. there's a couple turbo NXs around here... fuggin ugly little things with their badly mounted ICs poking out.. :lol:

take out your old not-working-anymore carbon cannister, plug the hoses (esp if you have a G60.. boost leaks) and run the K&N filter down into the wing. all the cold air you need coming in from the front.. :)
