ok people my friend has a passat G60 left hooker and someone got a little festive with one of his wiper arms last nite :mad: but not only did they wrench the whole arm off they broke the they bar that runs from the motor to the actual arms... my question is ? would this be any different to a right had drive one and would anyone have a part no. for it .....

i do like em but i really like my bbs too.... this is becoming tricky as i know the bbs will suffer over the next twelve months so the steelies would make sence but the bbs keep the oe look which i'm lovin at the momment........

cheers phil k thats great i think i'll quite like that in the flesh.... i agree walesy there is something about c on steelies but it does divide opinions quite often..

nice one phil 8) bix - to be honest i quite like em and my bbs are in prietty good condition at the mo, so i would rather let em go to a wanted home and use steels as i do so many miles and trash them over the next year or so.... lookin forward to recieving my rsr by the way:)

ok guys been qouted a prietty good price for a set steels... so how much do you think my bbs are worth they are in very good cond. with no buckles and only a few light marks on the outer rims (but very hard to see with tyres are fitted). they are complete with centre caps etc and are a complete set of 5 !! what i am after is a realistic value without tyres to see if it's worth my while swapping them over... or if your after a set get in touch

i had two vrs before my G60 and i have to say i prefer my G60, but they are two different cars to drive, my run to work is a 160 mile round trip and the vr did it so well but so does my G60, i don't have to go in everyday so i now (imho) have the best of both but with the G60 everything just feels a bit more fun slightly more twitchy turn just feels a little sharper (probably cos it's a little lighter) and i love it for being a bit hectic, the vr is a very nice car but for me it's the G60 even without the leather and heated seats. of course a charged vr would probably make me swap back :) just my 2p worth

reminds me of my mk2 16v .. i did like that car :( i've been after a set of those steels for ages now and keep missing them on e38 been driving me mad......

ok so have toyed with fitting the audi gauges then fitting the pod that goes in the cubby.... but to be honest i only want a boost gauge.... i don't want a piller pod and am wondering what other people have done.... are there digital displays that could maybe replace the blanks underneath the heated screen switche etc (i have the older style dash) or i was thinking of making something up that could replace the ashtray as i don't smoke... can anyone give me any advice.....
