"affordable" i know that feeling, but yeah it's a mod that i've only heard good things about and would really like to have a look/listen at someone's car who has had it done, hopefully someone at stealth on the 27th will have it and i can bug them about it then.... :D

andy - i would really like to see and talk to you/people who have had this done as it's a mod that i would like to have done, but reckon i should have the fmic done first but would rather have this done first :? i do like that feeling tho when you get things done :)

my first c was a 1.8 16v and that did'nt have a s/r or e/w so guess not...

bit of a long shot but anyone want my old wishbones the bushes are knackered but the w/bones are all as they should be, might be usefull to someone, let me know.....

i saw one in iver heath on the way to work about a month ago going very slowly around a roundabout looked totally awsome and by all accounts sound just like an f1 car when on full chat :D

have you replaced the wishbones :?: mine were worn and squeeked for ages, or do you have powerflex bushes on your arb/wishbones :?:

i personally have never been a fan of abs, it was one of many contibuting reasons why i decided to go for a G60....and corrado abs is'nt the most reliable..... but it can be very useful in the wet...

popped out to my local vag dealership just now to take some parts back that i bought yesterday.... now i don't have a lot of time for this perticular dealership purely from my past encounters (total lack of knowledge :D ) and nearly laught out loud..... i pulled up and as usual no where to park, so just abandoned it outside the customer bays, while having a conversation with the parts guy (who in turn was trying to tell me that if i ever wanted a new g-lader i was better srapping the car- think the look on my face said it all and shut him up) about the return of so called parts, which he was'nt happy about returning for the total of 6.06p :lol: the sales MANAGER came up to me and said "excuse me sir is that your SCIROCCO parked outside.... you should have seen the look on my face and then the parts guys face, it was the iceing on the cake for me and this dealership, would rather try and make the future parts by hand than take them seriously again

i never go over 3 untill the oil has gone past 86 and 95% of the time it never really goes over 2.5, till then, to be honest tho untill the the car has been running for a while and the oil is upto 96-98 i never really go above 3.5 as i just love my car to much.... :oops:

i would just like to reccommend these guys, ordered some parts today really helpfull, knew exactly what i wanted, has to order some of the parts in from germany but will still be with me on monday... nice 8)

well got onto vwspares.com and they can do the lot wishbones incl bushes bj plus bolts and the plate that goes on top and new buses for the drop links delivered for 65 incl vat :D so if gsf work out more tomorrow i'll be ordering from them.

not my local vag they want 55 + vat each for just the wishbones. gsf want 13.75 + vat for each wishbone 11.50 for each bush fitting kit i've also ordered new ball joints and got the new pinch bolts, i also know the guy down there and he is gonna sort me out, which is nice of him. it's gonna go in the garage for the work but i was'nt sure if the tracking and camber would need doing??

ok so i need to replace my wishbones bushes, so i'm just gonna replace the lot. obviously with closer inspection new w/bones but NOT new bushes!!!!!!!! been onto gsf and ordered both lower arms new ball joints bush fitting kit- want to keep the bushes oe as would like to keep some comfort new pinch bolts can anyone think of anything else ?? and does the camber/tracking need doing once the new bits are on.... any help on this as always much apprecitated.
