  2. exactly what i was thinking a well sorted low milleage G60 is worth every bit if not more than most standard vr's imo.

  5. 2500 with that list of mods  , sounds very cheap to me buddy
  6. well ive had every other corrado and this is my first G60, i bought it in sept 05 done 12,000 miles in it and loved everyone, theres no such thing as a reliable car they all break down just how often :) it's still a corrado at the end of the day, for 2500 grand i reckon you will always end up spending more, but sounds like you already know what your letting yourself in for, i really enjoy owning my car and i have spent a few quid on it since i bought it but everytime i have a good drive home it makes up for it everytime, i highly recommend the G60 it's deffinately my favourite out them all, just my 2p worth.

    cold air feed question!!

that would be great buddy you have pm
  10. i'm looking at putting in a direct air feed for my oil cooler from the lower part of my front bumper (next to the tow eye to be exact) as my cooler is mounted next to the rad it does'nt get the best of air flow, what i want to know is where can i get a alloy insert that would actually fit in the bumper, just to tidy it all up really... hope someone can help (and understands what im on about  ) had a quick look on the bay and found this but all i really want is one end and maybe not so bling... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pipercross-cold-a ... dZViewItem

    My new G60

honestly after owning all but the 8v it is deffinately the G60, for reasons that won't suit everyones needs but i just find myself smileing all the time where the VR did'nt always do it for me, so much so that i am thinking of keeping mine now
  13. basically you will have a wire coming from your battery into two fuses then onto two relays, they generally just sit between the battery and the headlight, you can't mistake them for anything else there the only two black boxes there, if it were me i would just replace them any way so you know it can't be those, but i would say that this is most likely to be the problem from what you have described buddy.... they are'nt a standard fit from vag, the problem you may have is the previous onwer made his own and they could be somewhere else or there may be none at all !!!
  14. i reckon with it will be the earlier 10v with his budget :?
  15. as the title really who can give me any info advice on this engine and friend of mine is after either a bora or golf!!
  16. well i might be way off here but there are two relays one for dip and one for main beam, mine went a couple of weeks ago giving me just main beam no dip etc, on closer inspection there were corroded and really really hot (smoking), it could be just that!! they are usually just floating around in front of the battery behind the pasenger headlight, might be worth just checking that they have'nt bust, you can get replacements from maplins (theres one off the coppins r/about by the cinema is'nt there) there not exspensive. just my thought anyway.. of course if it's "homemade" it might not be quite the same as H100vw (gavins) one which is the one i have....
  17. does it have an uprateted headlight loom ? good tale tale sign is two relays in front of the battery??
  18. thats prietty cool, i thought the G60 was a bit lighter than that tho :?:
