Hay nick, blimey your keen.... i have to agree with Walesy, you engine was pulling strong on the rollers and at a 130 that's still young by many vr engine standards... if it were me i would leave as is and save ya money for a the conversion if and when your engine gives up ... but thats just my 2p worth and i can deffinately see the appeal of the 24v.... catch ya soon ....

hi there son of a beesting, this sounds very familar to me but to keep it short i had a mk3 highline in very good cond which i sold and bought your G60 :D . it is a a nice car but you will be bored within 2 days it just does'nt doing that puts a smile on your face if you know what i mean..... it is really hard to know what to buy after a corrado.... just see my sig for the cars i had after my vr and i had them all within 1 year, sold them and ended back owning aother c......says it all really.

can someone tell me what the cost is to strip and powder coat (in my choice of colour), a set of 4 15's as i have no idea what price it is... and after sunday i've really got the bug to make some changes...:)
-
not sure if this is of any help but why not see how much it is from bosch direct (no mark up and all that) just vw corrado and year made and will find your car eventually? http://ecat-online.bosch.de/toc/en/Etv5 ... vaDisabled

a firend of mine had a n/a 16v version and it was a nice car but it used an abnormal amount of oil and the exhaust constantly melted it's rubbers :? imho i would'nt touch one but the 20v turbo is quick, but the chassis is said to be on it's limits running 220 so i would'nt want to push it anymore

hay guys n girls been a while, still waiting for bt to get around to sorting me out :? so mot time and thought i'ed phone around for prices ended up putting it in my local stealers dropped it off, sat down had a drink and read the paper, techniciam comes out "all done sir" done within an hour of arriving, passed and passed with not one advisory :D thats a first for me in c owner ship... anyway look forward to seeing all the people going to stealth on sunday and see you there.

true they are fairly cheap and practical, but i had one of the last highlines and it was horrible and it was lowered on h&r's, well it was horrible compared to my c so thats probably not that fair, but the worst thing was the fact that boy racers were permanantly wanting give me race, it really started to p*** me off after a while.
-
cheers buddy... this may sound obvious but how difficult is this to do... i mean it's booked in tom afternoon as i moving on thursday... but is it something i could do and then have the tracking done.... i imagine i would need a b/joint splitter tho :?:
-
ok so yep it is an mot failure, can anyone tell me is it worth replacing the whole track rods or is nothing to be really gained and just replacing the t/r ends would be just as good, bearing in mind i'v ejust replaced the b/joints..... also is it worth doing enything else while i have the boots off etc.... cheers guys.
-
sorry stealers = vag dealers, to be honest mate i would do it yourself it really is'nt tricky. if it was me i would go to gsf too and get the lower temp thermo switch, it cost's about 7 quid and worth every penny.
-
i would say the stealers is the best place, are you gonna flush the system through too... if ya do use g12+ when ya replace it
-
love it.. covered in rust :? i'ed like to see what his clio looks like in 12-15 years time.... corrados were galvanised anyway were'nt they, hence the fact you hardly ever see post's " my corrado needs welding"
-
will look good with a 30mm drop, can't say i am a fan of those wheels they have always just looked to bid on any car i have seen, not bad step at all.
-
very nice kev lookin forward to seeing it on the 27th...
