There's even more low mileage VRs over £6k on there now including a blue storm with only 30k miles, 1 'club member' owner and they want £9995 for it!!! :shocked!: Where have all these low mileage Corrados been hiding all these years? These cars were built to be driven, not kept tucked away in garages! :)

That is very bloody nice, has it ever seen rain?! :) 8) Don't suppose you wanna swap, I'll even bung you a couple of quid as well!? :-P
-
Yes I'd like to know this as well. :?: Mines on 98k with FVWSH so far but it's due a big service so I may well take it to Stealth in early June time as it seems to be THE place to take your beloved C! :) What's the hourly labour rate there?

Thanks to John Wintle, two microfiber drying cloths arrived today 8) Cheers

Aye that's the one, what a beast :) , where is it now we wonder? :?

Was it the Burgundy one? If so that was awesome, I think I may have some pics of it from an old PVW somewhere...

Liking this thread :) .... interesting to note that so far Girlie C has notched up most hits by a long shot! Not surprisingly really tho she's a babe whereas everyone else is lagging waaay behind LOL! I'd put a pic of me up but I'm an ugly swine!
-
Well done J-DUB! :) Guess we'll be seeing a lot less of you on the forum now she's back on the road, especially with 1500 miles to rack up!?
-
Personally I wouldnt pay more than £5.5k now for a decent C and given a choice between late VR and those two - despite them being good cars - I'd still have the C  And as for them being dated? How dare you!
-
There are several on there from £6k up to £9.5k at the moment, it's mad but maybe VR6 prices are starting to appreciate, especially for low mileage well maintained examples. Of course it all boils down to how much people are prepared to pay...

Yep get that white lithium grease (from halfords £5 a can) on there and also on those other places Henny mentioned, it really is very good for freeing up those door hinges and slow moving sunroofs. I put my spoiler up, gave both arms a thorough clean, sprayed them, then manually moved it up and down and it moves much smoother with no squeaking

Figures I have for this beasty are : 4172cc V8 twin turbo 40v :-P 450 bhp 8) 413 ib/ft at just 1,950 rpm! 0-62 in 4.7 secs 0-125 in 17.8 secs! soooo it's pretty quick by anybodys standards :) Phatvr6s wouldnt keep up with a 1.3 morris marina at the moment :-P Although he'll be wiping the floor with pretty much all of us in the not too distant future :)

Which one? And why? :?

SOME OF THE WORST CORRADOS EVER... RICED !!!!!!! NOOOOOO ;-)
DaveStorm replied to chris CORRADO's topic in Exterior
Bleuuurrggh!! :pukeright: Why oh why?? :? :nono: Hideous. Each and every one of them. -
Spotted a lovely looking silver 2.0 8v (I'm sure as it had just a Corrado script on the back, plus the 8v only 5 spoke alloys) reg M857 ONP heading towards Abergavenny at about 5.30 pm today.

What an ar$ehole. no wonder us genuine storm owners can't get hold of spare badges  :x
-
I can see 'em, looks sweet 8) :)

Yeah I thought that there were a lot of C's in the car park too, even spotted an Audi 50 with British number plates, how rare?! :) It was a good turnout though by the Corrado Club, if I'd have got up earlier I'd have tried to sneak on the stand too but didn't get there til 12! Twas a late night last night! :drinking:  Saw a few people milling around the club stand, but wasn't sure if they were owners or joe public, should have had a badge with DelCorrado on it or something...nevermind, hope you had a good day though 8) :)

Spotted a blue VR as I was driving down the Malvern Hills N ** RDU I think, my mate said you waved but I didn't notice cos I was too busy looking at your lovely motor! :) Sorry whoever you were, I assume you had just been to the show though 8)
-
Thanks, it could have been mine, although I did spot a couple of other Storms in the car park too. :) Your green G60 looked very nice too
-
I liked the silver C on the club stand, looked very clean :) 8)

how many were registered P plates? anyone know? Very few I'd imagine as the Storm came out in April/May 1995 on an M plate so the P plate is August 1996 at the earliest. Over the last few years I've noticed only two P plate blue Storms and also a couple of VR6s on Autotrader. I don't think I could have held out for that long though, if I'd have been buying one from new! :)

Price seems a bit steep for 5 plastic red letters tbh but good on you for finding someone prepared to make 'em, looks fine. I'm waiting to see what CCGB are gonna do though as a rumour has been going round for ages that they are going to get some made up too... :?

Ah ha! Cheers Brookesy :) Still does it with 'save as' as well. Nevermind the info above is all I need

I'm unable to download the link for some reason, it gets so far then keeps saying 'unable to load graphics conversion filter. Continue with document conversion?' Stupid computer, anyone know how I get round this? Ta
