Wickedabass :D So do we need to ring that number then, or is it ok to drop James (or even Christian) an email?

Looks really nice mate, I love those wheels too... what are they off (they looks like R32 ones, but they're 4-stud and obviously not 18s so they're obviously not)
-
I wasn't dropped on my head... But I have been kicked in the head many many times, knocking me out on several occassions (I'm a martial artist and I used to play a lot of rugby)

Done 29mpg from Sheffield to Leeds today, then 32mpg back again. (According to the MFD anyway, it seems to be pretty reliable, +/- 2mpg) That included coming off early at J36 so I could thrash it down the A61/Penistone Road

Reminds me of that Alfa that Richard Hammond had on Top Gear, which lost all the other gears... "Second is nice. It's underrated as a gear"
-
Why not rotate them so they're on the front, and the better tyres are on the back... at least then any understeer/aquaplaning you get is easier to control than oversteer and a pendulum-esque rear

Sounds like you all had a fantastic time. Is this something you might be interested in doing next year too? I'd be well up for something like that... or maybe an organised trip to the Nurburgring -

Not for a couple of years at least, although after driving it for a week I'm more inclined to keep it on the road, and to get something else as a track weapon... perhaps a nail of a Rado and put a 20VT engine in or something. We'll see... but I will definitely take this on the track... maybe just not convert it to a track car -
Watched Jackass The Movie last night, after a few (ok, a lot more than a few) drinks... forgot how funny it is, 8/10

Might go forced route one day, but for now I'm just loving it as it is... just love it the way it is right now -

The money for now will be going on performance & handling... I'll do a few things to the exterior/interior but they'll be relatively cheap in comparison. -
My tailpipe is covered in soot now, and it does smell a bit rich when booting it. Also the exhaust pops quite a bit (not loudly though) on overrun, would this suggest it's running rich too, with excess fuel being burnt in the exhaust? Check your spark plugs and see what there like. Not so easy with a Schrick manifold... it's going to Awesome pretty soon for a full service anyway so I'll ask them to have a look

 My mate (Etches69) and Joe were originally on there, then a few of our mates have since joined, and I got to know a few of them so thought I might as well. Yeah Joe said that to me... I still think his was outright quicker due to weight, but mine definitely has the torque there over his. Reckon it'd be a close one, like I said earlier, I think he'd have me on the strip, I'd have him on the track. Can't beleive the cheeky kernt he sold it too tried to sell it for way more a few months later. Whats the crack with yours then, how come you havent' driven it in so long? -
Mmmm I agree. SAS... the worlds biggest regiment... everyone's in it... ...and if they're not in, their mate is!

Who needs insurance when you can have MO5s :norty:

Do you (army/navy/raf medical officers) spend a lot of the time placed in the NHS? I know at Selly Oak, a significant proportion of doctors and other medical staff there are from the armed forces, understandable with it being the RCDM

Wasn't me... Bill's had them set up bob on hasn't he... I certainly won't be touching them. I may one day replace them for some V2/3 or Konis. Really would like some ride adjustable, cos these could be a bit softer round town, but they're not firm enough to get the best out of the car on the track, being preset, they're a compromise between the two, and I don't like to do compromise  Sounds good fella. Let me know on here when you're planning to see Joe's vento and I'll bring this across too, or get him to give me a ring when you're already there might have to tag along when erny pops down to see joe and have a little nosey around your car to, looks like you made a great choice of car kidda :) and you got buffing skills might have you buff mine up when i finally decide to pull my finger out and get mine finished  which might be in the next ten years  Yeah that'd be good, be nice to meet some local Rado owners and put faces to the usernames... you on Lowdown too? -

Bentley manual (on page 64.25) says: I'd have scanned the pages in but my scanner is broke :(
-
I've seen something about this in the Bentley manual, in the troubleshooting section for electric windows. Says if they work when the door is open, but not when it's closed, then the problem is ___________________ Only thing is, I can't remember what that ___________ is... I'll go have a look now for you though

Recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc (Hons) in Aviation Technology with Pilot Studies. During my time there, for extra cash I worked on the bar at a city centre hotel, whilst also doing night shifts as one of the night porters. I also was a self-employed "automotive detailer" (basically I had a machine polisher and knew how to use it), as well as doing various jobs for cash, mainly to do with cars, such as servicing them on my driveway, fitting mods/parts, etc NOW, I'm job hunting. I have applied for a couple of jobs, been interviewed for some already, got interviews lined up for others. Still doing the bits on the side for my pocket money, and my parents employed me to do some decorating and other stuff in the house and in the garden... don't get much money from it, but it pays my way whilst I'm living with them
