Yeh I was thinking cleaner it would be a good idea. I made a bit of a botch up catch tank the other day. It was pretty cool. I used an old fuel filter casing and made it shorter. Thought it was going to be the daddy but the pipes I used for it were only as big as fuel pipes and this was causing quite alot of pressure in the head of the engine. Undoing the oil filler cap was like opening a can of coke  . So i've disconnected it again. Gonna have another go at making something better with bigger pipes. Timo.

Over the last few weeks I've getting oil dripping from the breather filter I've installed. I have a bit of pipe used to connect it from the rocker cover and filter. The pipe is angled quite steeply to try and stop this from happening but the filter just seems to be saturated in oil. Its been on the car for several months and I haven't had any problems with it till now. Its on the VR by the way  Timo.

DO IT!!!!!!!!! The maf is about the only thing left to break on my vr. I've had all the rest go....

you can try unplugging the maf whilst the car is running. The engine should at least dip in revs if not stall completely. If nothing happens it totally dead. They can often run out of spec though and not come up on diagnostics. Best way is to borrow someones that is defintely working fine and put it on. At least you can eliminate that from the equation then. Timo.

Beeeaaassssttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a wee bit disappointed though. I wanted it to be a twin turbo Corrado. Never mind, i'll get over it! P.S. You have way too much money man, or a massive bank loan! Timo. 8)

See the two metal circle things at the bottom of the picture. Those plastic things fit on top of them when you put the metal things on the rear shocks. Timo.
-
They either go on the rear shocks or the rear pig tail bit on the rear spings. Cant remember, it says in the instructions. Fitted this kit about two months ago. Give us a shout if you have more trouble finding where it goes and I'll have a look for it! Timo.

I've driven the S-type twin turbo diesel (the sports version!!). Its a monster, probably the best car i've ever driven! (not including the corrado obviously!). I liked it better than the XK8 I drove on the same day and that had 4l V8 in it!!! Timo.

Finally got into a fuel station to check the tyre pressures....... whoops   . I think I should have checked them sooner. Both fronts were down to 29 psi. Back left was 29 but the back right was 20!!! Thought it look a bit flat the other day! I'm sure this hasn't help the wearing of my tyres so I'm now going to see how they behave over the next week or so. Cheers Timo. 8)

There's one on ebay at the minute. Pretty sure its second hand but if you can get it cheap it'll be a bonus. £140 is alot of dosh!!! Timo.

I'm interested in a mount for my vr6!! Timo.
-
MMmmm, I thought of doing that before but I would have to get up well early to beat you all to Star P. Probably a bit cheeky anyway. The front and rear wheels should look to have the same camber then. Timo.
-
I've be looking in the bentley manual at the camber angles. It says that the VR6 should have -1 degree 20' at the front and -1 deg 30' at the back. What the smeg is the 20' part? Is that a fraction of a degree? If it is, there wont be much difference in the camber from the front to the back. For instance would you be able to tell by looking just with your eyes. I also thought my fronts had more camber than the back and now that I've installed the new suspension it wearing the inner side of the tyres at the front. The tyres are not standard size and often bigger tyres do wear on the inside anyway. (FOund that with previous cars with larger than standard wheels/tyres) I had the tracking done yesterday but I reckon the camber is the problem now. Only thing is, if I change that now, I'm gonna have to get the tracking done again. The cars handle well good so if its only gonna wear a wee bit of the inside tyre I'm not bothered. Also the camber on the front wheels looks the same as what it did before I changed the suspension but my eyes could be deceiving me!! A pictures of some with 17" wheels of there front wheels showing how much camber it has would be a bonus. I might go and take a picture of mine and post it up. Might have to bite the bullet and hand £70 to VW to set up the whole car. WIll be needing new tyres shortly so I really want it sorted before I get them. Cheers Timo.

I have a confession. I not upset. Its just my sick sense of humour. No worries mate. I'm really pleased with them, but I did buy them thinking that I will get some H&R's to go with them a few months down the road. 8) Timo.
