Just had another look at it, off to the bog for a good spew! It does beg the question, if it is fake someone went to alot of effort and wrecked their car or at least added to the damage. I'm sure the insurance company would have soemthing to say if you added a bit of gore yourself!! T.

My Dad and I have both come to the conclusion its either a fake or someones "sexed" it up a bit. (My dad's a Vet!). Look at the size of the deer, it aint that big!!. And as kev has said its all over the driver's head rest. If you had time to duck you would have time to serve. I'm sorry but you WOULD try and avoid a deer if you had the time! My views...... T.

The EDL only works under a certain throttle limit too. For instance, at WOT it doesn't even bother trying. I think it's less that 50% throttle it works (i'm quite sure its lower than that, but cant remember) The only time i've had it work was in snow at low speed and small amounts of throttle usage!!! It almost makes a groaning noise whens it working as if to say.. "I cant rely be botheres with this!!" Timo.

Had some other thoughts on how to do it today. Hopefully you'll understand what I mean but here goes. Basically it there's 4 seperate rallys. The first one starts in the middle of Britain somewhere (I'm thinking the Borders or somewhere in North England) this heads North up to John O' Groats picking up the people that haven't started at the beginning but wish to enjoy the fun. It ends at John O' Groats. The second is basically the return journey, dropping off the people that where picked up if they dont want to go all the way back to the intial start. The third then starts from the initial start point and goes down to Land's End again picking up people that didn't start from the beginning. And the fourth, yes you guest it, is from Lands End back to the start. My thinking in this is it hard to expect everyone to do Jonh to Lands End. This way you can do as much as you like, and if you enjoying the trip you can do more if you want without committing to a full run of the UK. So, what do you think of the idea?? And any ideas on where to start from (need to get the map out!!) and also when to do it? I'm thinking the easter holidays and it guarantees most people will be off and having 4 mini rallys is going to take more than a weekend. cheers Timo.

Thats what I was thinking, although I dont fancy driving all that way up, but who knows. Kinda seems like cheating if you only do some of it. It'll be some fuel bill, better become an AA member me thinks!!! T.

I didn't fancy going out of the UK, was trying to keep the costs semi sensible! :) T.

I knew I was on to something here!!! Thanks for the positive feedback and yes I was thinking quite a few months ahead too. I am sooooo skint at the minute its not funny. If you guys have ideas on what can be done that would be cool. One of the other things I thought was trying to incorporate a track day (a few hours). Going to RR days in convoys of 6-10 Corrados is cool but I like the sound of 20++ cruising down the motorway 8) Cheers Timo.

After watching the GUmball 3000 on sky I reckon we should have a small UK one obviously Corrados only. Anyone interested??? ideas?? comments? My first thoughts were going from one end of the country to the other and have perhaps 6 meet up points so not everyone necessarily has to start from the beginning or has to go the whole distance. Obviously it would be a rally (not a race  ) T.

These seem to be rather cheap at the minute. Half price in halfords £99.99. Anybody have one?? Just wondering if there are any good. They seem to be the middle of the road in spec. I'm just trying to find excuses for not buying one as the temptation in becoming to strong....... cant resist!!! Timo.

dannyrado, sorry taken so long to reply, I've been away for new year. This setup is a must, if you dont want to shell out for brembos etc. Plus as Kev has said, get 4motion carriers and you can get even bigger discs in there. They haven't bedded in quite yet, both sides are not wiping the whole of the disc area, never replaced the pads (hardly been used) and the discs were quite rusty (again, barely have a lip on them). I've been taking it easy with them but the other day when I needed some emergency braking power and was very impressed with their performance and there is still more to come. I reckon the whole nrake system could do with another bleed but I'm really chuffed with the outcome. Timo.

Merry Xmas to you guys. Mmmmm nice snow outside   Timo.

Well I started this installation but I've been rained off big time!!!  Having the disc/pads sat next to each other is like chalk and cheese. What a difference in disc area and pad size!!! A worthy mod and for just a shade under a 100 bucks it never broke the bank 8) Timo.

looks like its fitted with the standard suspension  Timo.

Received my 288mm front setup I bought of ebay yesturday. Cant wait to get them on and tested. Might managed it this afternoon if it stays dry and I get the chance!!! Christ it xmas tomorrow!!!! P.S. The carriers, calipers and pads are fecking huge!!! Its got to make a serious difference 8) Timo.

G60Dan, You're my hero!!! Can I have it in flash red though? 8) T.

Beast!!! shame it aint red :( T.

Amazing, a VW guy that knows something  I'm shocked!!!! I guess £501 8) What prize does the winner get? T.
-
keep ignition on when bleeding, try bleeding the abs pump with both the valves on top of the pump. Then bleed all the calipers. T.
-
How much did all those parts cost then??? Bet you were there for hours telling the VW part muppet the stuff you needed  Timo.
-
Mine doesn't do that!!!  Always thought it should though, but I'd rather not mess with it incase it all goes pear shaped!! T.
-
bracket welded to the shell. T.

Replaced the rear cylinders and the brakes are now brilliant so I'm well chuffed and no have full confidence in going around at a half decent speed now. There was alot of air in the system in the rear pipes so needless to say the brake pedal no longer hits the floor before anything happens. Thanks for all the help.....again! T.

It is a ticking noise or a knocking noise?? I reckon its the CC value coming on. It makes a ticking noise that I suppose sounds like someone walking in high heels Timo.

yup I was disappointed too!!! Scandal!!! Timo.
