Crikey £450's a good price  :D if not TSR in barnstaple, but i've heard mixed reviews about 'customer satisfaction', looking at over a grand fitted - see they're website tsr-performance.com or Rat Racing at Newton Abbot, the guys who have the rolling road at Tipton St John, or Phill Reid who runs the Plymouth rolling road.

Heavily modded white 16v (i think) in sidcot, heading south from Bristol airport last saturday. Just managed to flash as we passed.

I bunged some cheapy (£5) additive when changed the gearbox oil last month, noticed no difference really, besides it's harder to get into second gear when cold - but then again my gearbox/ synchronisers are knackered :( Mate of mine put the slick50 treatment in and swears by it, apparently very good but pricier. my 2pence

yep - have done..... mechanism is about to give up me thinks :(

Bloody corrado's... Last month - Indicator lens Today - seized front caliper Tomorrow - Sunroof seems slower
-
Finally identified 'noise' was actually from rear wheels after driving around with rear seats down  Anyway, checked rear bearings and they were fine - then decided to file down the edges and corners and internal web of both rear discs, hey presto noise gone... :D Can't believe it was that simple

Tell us where you are - as peeps might know of private ones in your area.... I know of a superb one in south/mid Devon if anyone needs :!:

Often looked at that - this is probably stupid question but what is it supposed to be for? If no joy from vag-com thing will power from glovebox light cheers neil.

Had some spare time at weekend so managed to fashion myself a 3 guage pod that sits in the center bin? Lighting for guages I'll take from the original radio supply.... but where do i get the power for the electric oil pressure guage?! Cig lighter permanently live, blower switch is 20 amp  cannot find switched live to radio.... do I have to wire back to ignition :?: Any advice appreciated :) Incidentally, have noticed most guage pods for centre pod i've seen only have two 52mm guages in - if anyone wants template to fit three then i'll measure etc.

What The F*** Are You Banging On About :D would be my guess smith I raised this topic few weeks ago, and you can use the throttle bodies from the audi 80/ 90 20valvers i think it is - according to guys off forum the second butterfly is marginally bigger, but flow rate gains are minimal... however am still considering it myself

i thought it was 'ich liebedich' ... unless my ex was lying to me

Starts mild enough... soon develops into a all consuming, money spending nervous obsession... ends with complete denial that any equivalent method of transport exist. Prognosis: no cash, limited house furniture, 16hr days, impressive tool collection, general feeling of superiority, excessively high phone bill due to sourcing cheap parts of ebay and getting therapy on the 'forum' Remedy: Its incurable... serves you right for having good taste :!:

Cheers Harry, good idea about hubs - will try and find some :!:

excellent another south west bod :D

Made a school boy error - i told him it was the front, which it was at that time. Problem now is I suspect he hasn't fitted it perfectly, and the noise is indistinguishable from possible other bearings going. That's partly reason for investigating! He managed to break a mates land rover axle last month

After being robbed £71 quid by a local garage for changing a front wheel bearing (and its still making noise) have decided I'm going to do other bearings myself. The rears are pretty easy I've heard, and I've arranged a hydraulic press for the fronts.... is there any stumbling points I should be aware of, as I don't want to take it back to the local guy half done and be robbed a second time :x Any comments appreciated :D

A Chavved up Corsa with Credibility he's obviously illiterate :?

yep defo - just not convinced 35% ('sales' figure) temp reduction - i.e 25deg to 16deg will make any diff on a valver nice avatar :D
-
Only for turbos/ scharged :D probably not even 'dooper' for normally aspirated engines, be surprised if 35% temp reduction makes any difference to performance - anyone :?:
-
long shot, but have you checked no stone lodged between disc guard - had that one before.... Your pads/ discs new? I had intermittent rubbing/ squeal last year which was solved with simple copper grease on BACK of pads :!:
-
yep - sooper dooper charge cooler
