    Sunroof motor

The original late motor is 535959731 but this has been superseded by 3A0959731B. The updated version looks very different but fits the same. I recently replaced mine which was 535959731 with a 3A0959731B from ebay for about £15 and is fully working again. There's a few on ebay : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-MK3-VENTO-ELECTRIC-SUNROOF-MOTOR-3A0959731B-/400593553942?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d453c8a16
  3. I had a similar problem ages ago, was starting then immediately cutting out. Turned out to be the fuel pump fuse had gone, it's no.8 in the fuse box, worth checking. I always carry a few spare fuses now.
  4. Thanks Pete for organising the club stand, thought the VR6OC turn out was decent considering the weather. Was a good day despite jeans being soaked through from soon after I got there. Like the pic of my bonnet, the hard work yesterday with the sealant was worth it lol. Got to say hello to Mike Brewer, Pete just had to have his pic taken! Didn't take many pics but the few I did take....
  5. That looks like a standard late Corrado one sprayed black to me.
  6. They were still available at VW dealers earlier this year, p/no 357 867 169 4FB, about 50p
  7. Have you got a picture of the "Brand New Aircon Switch: £20" Is it the UK Davia type or the German type? Cheers
  8. I'm up for this again this year, just registered. See you guys there!

    Sold

If this is still for all the parts on the first post including the mint carpet I'll take it. Cheers, J EDIT: sorry thought £50 was for the job lot, will have to pass for the moment.
  10. Hi mate, Interested in the "Late Passenger Side Electric Window Switch - All working & good condition - £10". Does it have both the metal clips on the back that hold it in place intact? Cheers, J
  11. Yep that's everything you should need, although you might want to order a couple of speed nuts that clip into the centre console to screw the gauge panel into p/no N90282501. Wiring is as follows: G. Druck = Pressure sender feed 15 = Ignition live 31 = Earth 58 = Dash illumination There's all the information you need on this thread too: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=13167&highlight=VDO+Gauges
  12. I got my oil pressure sender from VW Heritage, found they were the cheapest: http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_spares_Oil-press-sender-150psi-Gauge-6-9psi-switch-2-pin_act_shop.product_pID_90289_lang_EN_country_GB.htm And I think the connector is still available from VW: 1J0 972 704 Connector housing x1 000 979 133E Connector pins x2 (come as 2 pieces of wire with a pin on each end so you need 2 and cut in half to make 4 connectors)
  13. Thanks Dox yep it's drivers side I need. Hofmiester if you've got a pic of the complete one you've got I could tell if it's the right one. Cheers, J
  14. Wanted: Standard O/S Front Brake Caliper for late VR6 in working condition. Don't need the carrier. Cheers, J
  15. The door seals are available from VW Heritage now but not cheap at £82.64 each, I ordered a pair yesterday. They also now do the boot seal £114.54.
  16. Replaced the "Corrado" script on the rear today, old one was well worn and letting the back of the car down. Picked up one on ebay and it turned out to be mint.
  17. Thanks Fay for organising today, was a good turnout and enjoyable afternoon. Weather was better than expected, I'm very sunburnt lol. Couple of pics taken late in the day so a couple had left already:
  18. Count me in for this. Had my V3's fitted last week at last and not had a run out in it yet, and it's B roads all the way for me so a good chance to try them out.
  19. There's a Trimsport one on ebay at the moment: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380704607061?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649. It looks like a proper Trimsport one but it's not listed as such, so may be a bargain for someone.
  20. I recently went through the same problem when one of my heater hoses started leaking. There are 7 water hoses on the VR6, but most silicon hose manufacturers also include the inlet breather hoses in the kit, making it 9 or 10 hoses. I heard of a couple of people having problems with Samco's after having them fitted for a while so I went for Roose Motorsport hoses as per the group buy on here, and I have to say the quality is excellent. Roose will supply you with whichever hoses you want, I went for the 7 water hoses and only one of the breather hoses as I have a BMC filter so didn't need the others. With Roose you can also ask for no branding on the hoses which is what I went for. Roose Group buy hoses: Unbranded Roose:
  21. It's worth mentioning that these brackets will only fit if you have an original VW Denso Marston radiator as all other replacement rads don't have the extra lips across the top which these secure to.
  22. Had no problems at all with it, just I got hold of a billet one instead.
  23. SOLD to borachris Cheers, J
