I had a duel with one a while back - posted on here at the time and I was ahead and stayed ahead til about 70 at which point I backed off and this was from nearly standstill. So I'd say a standard VR can at least keep up with an R32 around town - unless my VR also has a mutant engine.

The rear vw roundel is held in place by plastic pins for want of a better description! To remove it you need to open the boot and remove the cover over the boot locking mechanism etc... but if you can't be bothered you can simply use double sided tape!

Yep I can vouch for MCA too - top blokes. My car was in for a new cat 1 because my alarm was playing up and all they did was adjust some sensors on my current alarm and saved me a fair few quid. I've had my ICE supplied and fitted by them too. Too bad you didn't go there seanoVR!! *edit* But don't confuse them with Sound Studio next door - they're not so good! It's looking good, a lovely colour, but not sherry pearl! I should know ;) I know what you mean though, it does have a pearlescent hint to it.

It may not be a steal but you get what you pay for, it looks really good and because it is US spec makes it a little different and includes some extras. The fact that the supercharger has been rebuilt is definitely worth a few quuid.

Hmm.. need to take a closer look at my water temp, I get around 80 on the open road, can you explain this cold start cycle to me? Do you just mean it's running colder and therefore less economical? Oh and by the way, welcome to the forum Domi.

I bought mine from the stealers for about £70 inclusive.

Try it and see. Sit in the car, set your alarm, then move about and see if it goes off. You may have just set the silent arming/disarming feature most alarms have.

They just haven't been released yet except for a selected few which went to auction. You can sign up via the DVLA's website to be informed when the 'impending' release actually happens.

I'm sure I have seen a similar post before but having problems finding it. After a normal run I parked my C for about 15 mins and went back to it but it wouldn't start, it turned over ok, kind of fire up briefly and splutter then die - all within a second. The exhaust was making some popping noises and it was like the accelerator pedal wasn't connected to the throttle because pressing it had no effect on the revs when it fired very briefly. It eventually started perfectly normal after a few attempts several minutes later. It's never done this before and hasn't done it since. :? Is it possibly a fuelling issue? This is in addition to the ubiquitous stalling :roll:

Dark blue met M reg heading towards Manchester city centre in Rusholme around 1pm today. You would have passed mine as it was parked up but I wasn't in the car.

Spotted a red G60 I think with non standard 5 spoke alloys parked up in Fallowfield near the Kingsway/A34 roundabout reg D3 *** looked clean.
