  1. INA Tappets are £5.12 each incl vat from OEMparts. I thought INA were the ones to go for?
  2. Sure you can't post? Come one Perkins, from one brother to another.
  3. Lot of you unfortunate people in Rotherham :)
  4. Corrado door handles don't require armour door plates. The design of the handles and lever mechs makes them almost impossible to break in with a screwdriver/knife under or above the handle itself; which is what armour door plates are used for. The thief will just go straight for the locks or window. Obviously armour plates could stop door damage around the locks, but if the dirty scummer is willing to break in to your car I think that's the least if your worries.
  5. Just did this on my car and all I can say is, wow. It's smoother, sounds better (engine sounds like its gowling) and it pulls so much harder, especially at the top of the rev range. 100% recommend.
  6. No problem. I'm very interested pending pictures please. Mainly depends how well it's wrapped. I've seen some right horrors recently! :)
  7. there is 100% twenty. Just got some ARP bolts and the head I removed had 20.
  8. Provisionally Sold to Jim. Just waiting for payment. Thanks :)
  9. Due to a change in direction (turbo build so I have big fat leads to fit) I'm selling my Genuine VW HT leads. These are approximately 12 months old and are in fantastic condition as such. 100% working. I enquired about these a few weeks ago at Sheffield TPS and Rotherham VW. These are now obsolete from VW, in a pack and individually. They were £185 when last sold, ouch! I want £75 Ono. Located in Sheffield.
  10. Still here.. Don't make me put it on eBay. I hate eBay. :(
  11. Still here guys. Normally these fly out!
  12. Well, an old Corrado of mine had a rear end shunt, similar to this one. But back in the mid 90's when the car was a few years old. £8k or something silly to repair, through insurance though. A big hi-lux vs a Corrado? I'd be surprised if the boot floor didn't need just a little pull.
  13. The injectors have a little clip on the fuel rail side which just pop off with a screwdriver, The injectors pull out really easily. Well, should do. If not use a bit of soapy water, but you'll have to re-new the o-rings if you do. But just twist to break to seal and pull straight out - there is nothing fancy holding them in, just an o-ring. The loom simply unplugs from the injectors and the plastic rail is clipped in at the rear onto the fuel rail, in two places. Probably the best way to describe the clips are like a erm.. a bell headed shape split in two. So just push the clip halves towards each other.
  14. They are both available still. Vwgti was going to have them but he went quiet. I'll drop you a PM. Rich
  15. That's a write off. It'll need the boot floor pulling out most probably , new rear panel welding in, new bumper iton, new or repaired bumper skin. Plus paint. Of course you can get it done cheaper yourself using used parts, but you're still talking best part of a grand. You can cut them out of a donor car, unsure if they can be had new.
  16. I've realised the length of my username affects the layout. When I'm not logged in, it's perfect. Someone else uses my devices to log in and it's perfect. Must be my long name. Andi, PM'd about a name change.
