I love what you did with the pre-fab garage. I am looking at my first house soon and one of the requirements is a garage built into/next to the house. I will then insulate and link up a radiator to the central heating and put in a dehumidifier for good measure.

As above, the one that goes above the quarter window, in mint condition. What have you got?

Right, no photos unfortunately as just trying to get on with the work. But heres whats been done so far; - Front Bumper sprayed - OSF wing sprayed - NS quarter glass removed, rust removed from underneath, welded up and whole panel painted. - OS door painted I've fitted new door scrapers, handle & mirror gaskets and various nuts & bolts. As well as even more wax protection ;) I'm now putting all the interior back together. and the front bumper is back on. Then phase two starts; - Any broken underseal removed, rust treated and re-applied - Rear number plate lamp rust treated and painted. - New roof mouldings to go on (although mine aren't actually that bad at the moment so I may wait until next year to fit these.) And finally, if there's enough paint over then the front bonnet. It's not massively bad at the moment. Just a few chips etc but may as well whilst there. I'll be chucking some new foam on at the same time. In other developments. I've ordered an OEM set of Corrado VR6 Winter Steelies although I will be trying to limit winter use for obvious reasons :) Also sourced a period VAG 6CD Changer to go with the Gamma 4

Currently putting mine back together after having a few rust patches sorted and adore it :) It is tempting sometimes to go to a more modern car but nothing else puts quite a smile on your face.

I think VW UK have missed a trick with letting VW Heritage get the official title for Classic Parts.

Hi Jim, Anywhere built up with a good choice of restaurants (Nandos, Pizza Hut etc?) and sells rooms at about £40 a night is good for me :)

For the people who ordered XL's and XXL's i'm afraid I have some bad news :( Unfortunately these sizes don't appear to have turned up and I am unable to get any more at the cheaper price :( So I will be offering refunds on the people who have paid for these sizes. Many apologies for this but unfortunately these things do sometimes happen.

Houston, we have rust :( What I thought was a laquer bubble under the lower edge of the OSR bonded window has turned out to be a full blown rust hole. I've never seen this type of rust before on a Corrado before and the window doesn't look like its ben removed. So I can only assume that it was scratched while fitting 15 years ago or that in the past someone has managed scratch it underneath the seal. All welded up now though ready for painting. Other than that. No other rust found so far :)

This was just in case anyone needed any really... I have a new lower grille to go on my C as mine is cracked but my old one still has the two caps intact on it? Did anyone want them for a couple of quid each? Seems a shame to throw them away as they only come with the £100 grille now!

Other alternative is there may be something within the VW group that has a similar fitted (I know the B6/B7 A4 does)

Wow suprised it's taking that long. But they are moving there parts warehouse to another city at the moment I thinkg. I do know someone there who speak English. Did you want me to see if I can get a date?
