  1. Sorry for the title, I couldn't resist  This is an aluminium coolant transfer pipe (aka "crack pipe") for a VR6 made by Mason Tech in the USA. Fits all models (AAA or ABV) and prevents the fragile plastic OEM unit from ruining your drive by suddenly failing and weeing coolant everywhere. Before fitment I added a brass gas tap from my local plumber's merchant for easy coolant changes. Just push a short length of hose on the end, stick the other end in a bucket and twist the tap - no more coolant-soaked armpits! It ran on my engine like this for nearly 5 years and never leaked once - if it'll hold pressurised natural gas it will certainly continue to hold coolant for many years. Easy to replace with a drain plug though, if preferred. Solid used condition with no cracks or dents. I've given it a quick once-over but to a perfectionist it could use a polish...no point really, as it's hidden behind the radiator under the scuttle panel and will get instantly covered in road dirt anyway. I've also fitted new OEM-spec o-rings for peace of mind. Be sure to carefully clean the flange on the engine with a flap disk and apply a little grease to prevent the (usually rusted) edge from snagging the seals as you install it - a new thermostat housing probably wouldn't hurt Absolute bargain at £40 including UK postage.
  2. I clearly priced these too low  Sent you a PM.
  3. I'm not Dave, but it was Dave who made them! Will drop you a PM. Nick

    Auto Pedal box

Sent you a PM. You will also have to remove it, that's why it's free :)
  5. Found a few of these while clearing out my Corrado parts. Normally £15 per side, so grab a bargain :) I have: 1 complete set (1 driver's side, 1x passenger's side - unused, never-fitted, perfect condition): £20 posted. You'll receive the top driver's side item pictured. I'll also chuck in the bag of assorted screws that Dave provides to remove the old pin. 2 extra driver's side: £7.50 posted each. These are used and show a few marks but still 100% serviceable. Stone

    Auto Pedal box

I have one too - free if you come and get it from Bedford.
  7. I have a set for 11" and 6". The above ones are different to mine. Stone
  8. I have a Hella one for sale with a nearly-new plastic elbow... VW Heritage sell them now, so no need to go for the expensive alloy options unless you prefer the look :)
  9. Sean: EL panel won't work as the light is attached to the shifter and moves with it. You can get the part from an automatic Golf Mk3 - I swapped mine a couple of times with scrapyard units. Beware, they're designed for LHD cars so the bulb is soldered in a very fragile way to some adapter wires which plug in on the opposite side to the bulb location. Very easy to damage! The green lens over the bulb is also delicate and you will usually find at least one clip is broken. I had one ages back which I attached a green LED to, but it's quite hard to dial in the brightness without getting it so dim it's only visible at night or so bright it bleeds into several of the 'compartments' under the legend. Car's being broken now so if you want mine you're welcome to it. Don't remember if it works but you can at least have a spare set of parts! We auto guys have to stick together ;) Stone
  10. Decent used condition with all the inserts shown. There are a few white spots on the back and spine, possibly paint? Sure it would come off with a good scrub (or a little white spirit) but didn't want to risk damage to the vinyl. Service book not included, but for established members I'll chuck it in - just don't want it to be used to provenance a different car. £25 posted. Pics: Stone
  11. I'm rebuilding a bored and stroked 1.9 8V to go in my Mk1 cabrio, but the previous owner has lost a few bits (including the timing belt covers and rocker cover). Anybody got anything that'd suit? Would prefer black painted/powder coated but will consider anything. No great rush. I still have a large amount of Corrado spares so trades are also feasible. Thanks in advance! Stone
  12. Sorry mate, the interior went whole. Here's the blank: Stone

    Expansion Tank

Pretty good, it's been replaced in the car's lifetime. Few dings in the cap as it used to occasionally get stuck when the coolant was hot and require mole grips to open  As above though, the caps are pretty much a one-use item, and pence from the scrappy. I may have an extra I can chuck in with it, I'll have a dig.

    Expansion Tank

I have a tank with blue cap for sale if anyone still needs one. £10 posted. Stone
  15. Like I said, I have a blank cap spare (as I made a hybrid heated windscreen switch out of two rear screen demist switches when there was talk of doing a heated windscreen group buy a couple of years back). Just need to dig it out, pretty sure I know where it is but I have an awful lot of Corrado spares! Stone
  16. Pics: Some of the clips had rusted so I've replaced them with much nicer ones from a breaker headlight. Good condition glass without any cracks. Stone
  17. I have a complete headlight in good to excellent condition. £70 posted. Will get some pics up when I get home.
  18. Pretty sure I have one, yours for postage. Stone
  19. You might get away with it but for the sake of saving £40 you might end up with a wheel that doesnt run true! Not worth it for the risk of vibration/hub damage in my book.
  20. They're £650 new on VW Heritage... Still lots of buyers whatever the pricing (especially for anything unusual or in particularly good condition), there are still a lot of owners who don't use the forums. Stone
  21. Jim: quite quickly really, it's out in the open so someone might run off with it and weigh it in if not! Will drop you both a PM.
  22. I've just removed the slam panel from mh breaker. Decent condition - no crazy rust, no crash damage, just a couple of stone chips. Previously either Dragon or Classic green, it's been resprayed in Blackberry - though the rear/underside is still green in places due to a lazy body shop. Not at all visible while fitted. Was freely gifted to me when I needed it by a generous forum user, so I'm gifting it onwards... Hopefully it will go to good use. Located in Bedford. Stone
  23. One genuine VR6 radiator, Hella part number 376 715 301 which equates directly to the Corrado part (535 121 253 E). Bought new at hilarious expense, used for a few thousand miles. Still watertight and the troublesome top elbow was recently replaced with a brand new part, including bolts and o-ring. The discolouration on the front is from where this leaked before replacement! Should give many thousands more miles of trouble-free service. There's a small dent in the fins on the forward side that looks like something snuck through the grille, otherwise in good condition. (please excuse the blurry images, there's something up with my camera! Any questions just ask.) £60 including UK delivery. Stone
  24. Are they genuine BBS or replicas? Pics of the stamps would be good.
  25. OEM Corrado bonnet release cable. Removed from a VR6 but should fit all versions. The pesky clip at the handle end is fully intact and it was removed correctly (i.e. unscrewed from outer trumpet and pulled through, then reassembled). Couple of small kinks in the cable but still slides correctly and more importantly works every time! Includes handle, cable, bulkhead grommet (decent condition), both trumpets and the spacer piece that goes under the slam panel. The polystyrene 'beads' on this have seen better days but they're only there to stop it rattling and still do that job perfectly well. £50 including UK delivery. Stone
