That's what it was supposed to be up for, Panjo is just a bit carp  To clarify: £80 includes UK postage. Stone

Set of 3(!) aero wiper arms Selling a set of three (yes...) aero wiper arms. So the front two are OEM Valeo wiper arms from a Lupo GTi - both driver's side (part number 6X2 955 410 C) which are now only available from VW in pairs at hilarious expense as they were such a popular retrofit item. The third is an original Corrado rear arm, which I cut the end off and then had an aero pin fitting from a Passat welded on. Perfect fit and really tidies up the rear end without deleting the wiper. If I'm being critical it could do with sanding a little flatter across the join and repainting, but it's still clean and stands up to pretty close inspection. Two brand new Bosch blades on the front arms (?15 each) and a part-worn one on the rear. Can vouch for this being a lovely example, terrifying acceleration from the AUE! If it wasn't the wrong colour I'd have gone for this over the R32... Good luck finding a buyer :) Stone

I've got one in blackberry...drop me a PM for pics/details.

Still available: PM sent. Nick

Not mine, the floor rotted out so I'm breaking it... :( Bought the R32 to cheer me up!

Only found out about this at the last minute but glad I tagged along, if only to stretch the R32's legs and blag some free advice from Vince  No RR run for me as I'm still being a bit precious about it but I did take a few pics. Had to fiddle with the contrast a bit as it was so cloudy, hopefully they come out alright! Some lovely cars as always, though I did double-take as a blackberry VR drove away as I thought someone had stolen mine... And a sneaky pic of mine, just because  Stone

I'm definitely not a fan of the Mk5 shape, it starts low and just keeps going up...I do love the Mk3 though, and you can't get a Mk3 R32 so I'm learning to love the Mk4 instead! When it's playing up it just clicks when turning the key, but quickly turning it from off to on to start repeatedly will get it to go after 2-5 attempts. I was at the Stealth meet earlier and Vince reckoned it was a sticky starter solenoid, which would make sense as it does it more when hot and it doesn't even start cranking at all - especially since the battery tests out ok. Guess it's just sticking and not engaging until it's been activated a couple of times. Wasn't best pleased but at least I have a workaround for now until I can get it booked in... They are really nice cars though, not regretting it... Stone

Here she is... Bit filthy from all the motorway miles (collected from Swansea!) but it's hammering down outside so I'll save that for now... Other than an annoying intermittent hot-start problem (starter solenoid?) it's been fine. Still getting used to what gears work best for what and it's a bit weird to be back in a manual car after the last ten years but I'm loving it. Much better build quality than the Corrado too  Stone

The vultures have been circling already but so can see this post is only going to make things worse  Let's follow the rules and wait for the advert in the breaking section... Where it is parked at the moment is no ideal (off-road, gravel, rented but shared with other tenants) so it isn't really set up for doing a full dismantling job on it. If I can sell the engine and gearbox that'll make it easier but it ideally needs to stay as a rolling shell both to make getting it out of the space doable and also to not urine off my gf's landlord too much! Shame as I would have preferred to get the suspension and wheels off, but I don't have anything stock to put back on... Best bet is probably to get the accessible stuff out and then sell everything at once to someone with the time and space to sell it gradually. I'd love to help people by cutting bits off the shell but it's not really going to go down too well with the neighbours if there's only half a shell sat about on bricks! The seats and door cards are gone already so I'll probably end up doing the seatbelts and trim on Vortex as a package deal and swapping back to an adjustable column, then most of the rest will go with the shell - glass etc. I'm not sure "relaxed about it" would have been my description - possibly closer to heartbroken? But I've had a couple of weeks to think things through and I'll get back a decent chunk of what I poured into it so it won't be too bad. And the R32 will make it feel better, even if I have to go to Swansea on the coach for it...

Been mentioned briefly on here before but my Corrado was refused an MOT due to extensive floorpan rot. A history of previous owners jacking it incorrectly plus the famed (ubiquitous) front wheelarch rust has led to water ingress rotting the chassis rails and sills - uneconomic to repair, and even if I did it was starting to get intermittent electrical issues that made me not want to throw any more money at it. So in the near future I'll be removing all the interior and some of the good bits and then selling the remains as a shell for breaking down further. It's been an interesting car to own, plenty of quirks and I've learned a lot along the way. Might well come back to Corrado ownership in the future but hopefully I can restart the love affair with a sorted one that isn't such a lemon  I'll be around a bit longer while I dispose of the remainder of my spares and stuff that's still fitted, then moving on. It's not all bad news though, I've just put down a deposit on a 3-door Mk4 R32 :D Makes it seem a little less painful to have something to look forward to! And it's still a VR6...kinda. Anyway, wanted to say thanks to all the great folks I've met off here. Sure we will cross paths again... Nick/Stone

Funny, my browser won't let me mark it sold either! Ho hum. Anyway, sold to that man over there :)

90mm front splitter 90mm front splitter - average condition but still usable. One small area has broken off on the bottom (not visible once fitted) so maybe it'd be better for a lowered car. Not confident it'd survive shipping so local pickup only from Harpenden (M1 J9). VR6 grille badge (chrome) VR6 grille badge in chrome. Few marks to the front face but it polishes up OK. Unfortunately both clips were snapped off in a front-end shunt. Simple solution - glue it on to your grille and then nobody will steal it at a show! :-) Price reflects condition. OEM Speedo binnacle screw covers 2x as-new OEM speedo binnacle screw covers - came off a late interior but I believe they'll fit early cars too. Perfect condition, not a mark on them. Genuine VW Corrado parts (not the cheap crap off a Chinese Jetta) - part numbers are 535 858 507 and 535 858 508. Just like the proverbial rocking horse droppings. Fix your OCD once and for all... I'll be taking my 42draft one off shortly, if anybody still needs one. It won't be £25 though, they're over £120 new! Stone
-
I did actually list them for £350, but Panjo added the rest for Paypal buyers' fees. You could pay by bank transfer or cash to avoid the fees. As you're so insistent, when I first got them they came direct from Stealth to me (£355 2012 group buy price, + £20 postage), then I spent £40-odd at the stealers buying the rest of the bits. Since then they've been sat under wraps waiting for a head rebuild that is now not going to happen. If you don't like the price then don't buy them, simples :)

For £8k you could have a pretty nice 5-door Mk5 R32 DSG, there are quite a few on eBay at the moment. I've spent the last week eyeing up 3dr Mk4s... Stone

You're not being thick, after re-reading the ad I realise I wasn't very clear! The cams are brand new, never used in an engine, never fitted to an engine, I've never even torqued the bolts up into them. The other bits are also new :) The gears are second-owner but completely free from wear. Hope that helps. Nick

Chrome-plated VR6 fuel rail OEM 12v VR6 fuel rail - chrome-plated and mirror polished. Gorgeous, and cost a small fortune to have done... Pic shows it mocked up onto a spare lower inlet - the inlet's not included but I'll throw in the injectors if you want them (unsure if they're working) along with a set of brand new injector seals. Collection from Harpenden (M1 J9) or I can post.
