As far as I'm aware the cars up until the Lplates had body coloured Corrado badges and red 16v or VR6 badges then it was silver all round.

Hey guys, I've got a 93 VR which was debadged by a previous owner - so I ordered a silver VR6 badge for the front grill even though it should have the red VR one but I prefer the styling of the silver version,however, it doesnt seem to fit! Maybe I'm just being an eejit but are they different? Am I gonna have to glue it on or is there some way of fitting it that I am missing! Cheers Glenn

This happened a month or so ago! Park my car in my local main street - thinking it looks pretty sweet until some guy pulls up in a Tuscan and diverts all attention away from my poor scared looking little valver across the road! :oops:

I've experienced my VR cutting out in weird situations - in a roundabout as I changed down the oil and battery lights flashed and the steering appeared to lock momentarily before suddenly driving normally again - I nearly PAT my SHANTS! :shock: What's that all about? Sounds similar to the opening posting of this thread!

Cheers guys! Was loving the new car but the light staying on worried me - never experienced this from my valver!

Hey guys only been running the VR6 for two days now. First day had tonnes of fun with no problems but when I started the car up on the second day the ABS light came on and hasn't cleared since! Checked the forum for postings and see it's quite a common problem - take it that it's still fine to drive the car just be careful when braking until it's sorted? Before I need to go the VAGcom ruote etc. - what's the best course of action? Is it worth cleaning round the wheels first or something?

I'm mad on Knight Rider too - do you think it somehow influenced our current choice of motor? :wink:

I must have wasted about £20 of petrol just tooling about getting used to it - amazing experience. Really comfortable driving it as I'm used to my valver but the performance and feel of driving it was really different. I know I'm gonna love this car! :mrgreen:

Hey guys, I've had my VR6 for nearly two weeks now garaged as I try to sell Boj but couldnt wait any longer and just swapped the policies over today! After taking the car for it's first little drive I couldn't walk away and have been driving aimlessly about since 6pm - now 9pm. The car is incredible to drive - love the power and the noise yet it's so nice and comfortable driving at low speed too. It's easily the best car I've ever driven - simply amazing. Any other people remember how they felt when they first drove a VR6?

My valver suffered from this too. Looks amazing normally but when the sun shone on it directly it looked like a stainless steel sink or something! What's the cause of the swirling? I'd rather it didn't show up on my VR6! :wink:
