Would out it back in original position it looks too low where it is. Rest of car awsomme though.

Yeah. In my job I have seen a lot worse make it back on to the road. The two main problems are 1) where the work is carried out. I had a mint S3. That went to nationwide crash repair centre and they ****ed the job up and ended having to respray the entire car to get it right. By the time they had brought it in and out for months I did not want it back so sold it. and 2) linked to the first part if they have not done a good job it can rust through after a few years and cause problems. This is the problem my neighbour is having at the momen with his 4 year old passat. So while it IS repairable just make sure the work is done at a good workshop that they choose so if there are any problems you can take it back as if it's a garage you choose your on your own. Also go over it with a fine tooth comb when it comes back to make sure it straight. As if a few years later you notice you have rust because of an error you will be hard pressed to take it back.

I have a red corrado vr6 and I am just trying to make sure I have the badges correct. When i bought it had a chrome front VW badge and a red vr6 grill badge. The back has a chrome VW badge and a red corrado badge and a red vr6 badge. I presume the VW badges are supposed to be chrome but what about the corrado and vr6 badges. Just wanted to make sure before ordering new ones. Cheers

As long as the parents aren't scum go see them and tell them you were in the Garden when one was thrown over and it has happened a few other times and your a bit unimpressed. Let them give her a load of **** and that way you can avoid falling out with your neighbours themselves as you still have to live with them. You could even tell them one hit you while it was still alight.

With your tints dude I would have all or none on the front. Car looks great though

£450 in that area..... I know a guy who would pull his finger nails off with a pair of pliers for that. Nice one bud

I Would say that 16 is big enough and a good compromise between filling the arch and an original car. I fitted 16" Dare DR-RS. They are the same as the lenso, BBS copies and that fills the arch enough and it seems fine even on the ****y cheap coileys that were on when I bought it and are about to be replaced with KW v1

Very good point. Don't forget to always have your handy breaker bar in the car with a 17mm nut on the end for changing a wheel. To quote a good film (Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it doesnt work you can always hit him with it) .....sorry

Mine was a VR6 auto till late 2009 when my mate, the previous owner changed it to a manual as the box packed up. I wonder if mine was the last one.
-
Matey. Put some real pressure on council. Use the police and papers threat carefully and not too early in conversation and give them a chance to be helpfull. Play the poor member of public who does not want to really further involve the police (despite the fact that if you can you will nail him to the ****ing wall) hope that council will step up to avoid bad press. Don't take no and ask for senior person if it does not go your way. Then contact police after.
-
Good point when I get mine will have to make a trip out to set them up.
-
No bud. Does that mean there is another of us. Never see them on the road. Then again mine does not make it on to the road very often either
-
Nice one mate. Get fitting.

Cool keep is posted. I have asked if anyone has run the Weite and did not get an answer
-
Another Redditch lad and I thought I had the only Corrado I the town lol. You need to get Ben to sell his Fiesta and buy a VW especially when he works at VW parts

What made you Weitec over KW v1 basic as they are only £50 more. I am trying to decided between the two at moment
-
That's the one. What did you go for coiley or conventional.
-
Matey if your still looking I have found a website on my hunt for the right suspension that can get KW basic variant 1 delivered for £490.
-
I stirred up a response with this one. I have now been quoted £490 for KW basic variant 1 or there is either the standard shock spring setup of B12 for £570 or the Weitec £380 or Spax PSX adjustable dampers for same money. The ideas I got from fishwick is that maybes V3 would be better but then I am not after mega low
-
Oh right. Managed to make a contact that can get them at these prices so I could get the basic cheaper than the B12. Decisions decisions. Every time I make my mind up I read someone's post and I am back to square one. Stuck on the fence. What to do arghhhhh
-
Just before I ordered the B12 kit I got further advice about coilovers and that they were good with non oe wheels as it allowed you to get the right height to suit the car. Anyway could someone tell me the difference between KW variant 1 basic and the variant 1 inox line. I can get the basic for £490 and the inox for £600 and would like to know difference. Still not ruled out the B12 kit though
-
Can you get a photo on bud
-
I like low but not at the compromise of the drive which lets face it is the main reason we own these. They are all about the engine. So getting back to topic has anyone tried the Weitec.
-
I am leaning to conventional due to good advice from another user keeping me on a good track. I have looked at Bilstein B12 kit. Also looking at the Weitec shock spring set up. Has anyone used either I am keen to know about the Weitec.
-
There is the Bilstein B12 set up for £580 or I can buy OE quality bilstein shocks for £150 then HR 35 mm for £171. What you reckon.
