Well as you'd expect with any company they all have their fan clubs and the odd hater here or there... either way I can't see any reason why SRR aren't accurate! If they provided a tuning service then I'd expect their figure to read a little higher to help support thier work. At the end of the day though (and as I said before) they don't offer anything other than power runs hence have nothing to proove and on that basis I feel that their results are a lot more real world than you would get else where. Another valid point and it's one thats already been made - so long as you use the same RR to check performance before and after modifications then thats really the only way to guage how your engine has improved/suffered. I ran my LCR on Charlie's road 6 months after purchase with roughly 10K on the clock and I acheived 224.8hp. Now considering my casr is meant to have 225ps out of the box thats round about what I was expecting if not a little higher... Since then I have only maintained rather than modify it due to being in warrenty to the end of last year and if I'm honest a little bit skint too  With that in mind I think it's about time to see where the power is now - especially as it's covered another 50K since the last visit! If there is enough interest in a CF RR day at SRR then put your names down in here and we can go from there. From past experience 10 people or more has brought the prices down to roughly £35 per head but I'll confirm once we have an idea of numbers... Hope that helps?

I saw this posted on PH yesterday and thought about linking it to here but didn't get round to it... Good video but tbh I prefer his first one! Never realised he was the owner of DC Shoe Co either... Either way he has some amazing skills! 8)

have you/they tried adjusting it by the hinges? If it's their mistake and was correct before then you need them to put it right or THEY pay somone else to do it - end of!

I hate the bloody M25 :bad-words: -
Good idea and stickied! Maybe you would like to add and update your first post as this thread progresses to help people find suitable companies with out having to trawl through the thread? Failing that I'm sure myself and the other mods will keep an eye on it and keep it updated too 8)

Surrey Rolling Road is owned and run by my friend Charlie and is run as an indipendent company... which in short means their results are honest as they don't have to make exagerated claims like some companies will after charging you lots of cash for performance upgrades!

Liking this a lot! Nice to see some fresh ideas working so well on the C - as said above I'm also of the opinion that the colour is what really helps carry this off! How was RTTS? I'vfe not been down for it for a few years now but want to make the effort next year - always a messy time to be had

That 996 looks fantastic Wendy - I love the areo kit too! Glad it didn't disapoint... so is this the one or do you have more to think about?

OK so there are too many letters but thats also an anagram of Swindle  Also, loving this 'ram raided halfords' edition of the G60 :cuckoo: Looking through the site - most of the ad's are either 'wanted' or 'sold'! Doesn't make for good reading :?

damn thats bad luck! you must be gutted... only let them write it off if you feel that it will never be the same again :( Were the police involved? Is she going to be banned?

I could be wrong but I thought the rule was that the tread of the tyre had to be within the arch... :?

Wendy, we seem to have very similar cars tastes... I've been looking longingly at both the Z4 Coupe and the Z... I don't have any experience of either though so I can't offer much help other than to say I'll probably own one of them before I get my porsche

Have you tried Brentacre? You'll find their details in the insurance section... I've used them for years and they have always provided me with the cheepest quote!

bet they look better in the flesh.... ok, and maybe from a (long) distance  -
Had 2 sets from them and was always really impressed with the quality - much better than the VW ones IMO...

Locking wheels nuts were purchased yesterday... Cheers for the link to the comp on ebay - will keep an eye on it but not sure what sort of costs would be involved getting it down here from Leicester  Got the pics off my phone from yesterday. Still makes me chuckle to think they may have been aiming to take all 4 but failed miserably... how seriously thick can you possibly be :epicfail:

Just got home from helping my mate put his space saver on the back of his mk3 Golf after some little scrotes decided to take 1 TT comp during the night! :bad-words: They'd tried to take the front too but it's jammed on the hub and requires some force to get it off... after realising this they've dropped the Halfords trolley jack and then due to the rear wheel not being there they've been unable to get it out - tw@s  So we now have a trolley jack (with out handle) and 3 Comps... forensics came out and were able to establish that the butt munchers had been wearing gloves but there was a print on the jack which might just turn up something! Keep an eye open for a TT comp wearing a 215 40 17 Millenium (true quality) tyre for sale in the Surrey area, or for that matter, anyone selling a genuine spare as we will need to replace it! Would love to knock 7 shades out of them!
