  1. tbh I'd say between £500 and £600 depending on the condition - £800 is completely over the top unless it's cream and/or has recaros... HTH
  2. Does it have to be a mkV? LCR's are going pretty cheep, would give you pleanty of grin factor and will leave enough budget for keeping the VR and treating it to as few fun bits and bobs... Shame you're so far away as I'd be happy to let you take mine for a blast to see what you think!
  3. Looks like the standard later style needles to me! Good work there - really looks spot on!
  4. Chuck a bit of fuel in the tank, head out of london on the A3 down to Hindhead and go and see The Phirm! You will not regret it. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else...
  5. I got hit by an egg a good few years ago while driving through woking - wrecked my nice new paint job too! anyway, I stopped the car got out and I think it's safe to say that kid will deffo think twice about doing it again! For what it's worth you could always report this to the local school/schools and see if they can say something in assmebly!?!
  6. tbh they're not bad from cold - no worse than standard but much better when warmed up - only takes 2 or 3 bends before they're warm anyway! I'm ignoring your other comment faggot
  7. Cheers mate - nothing but positive comments on the plate so far  and yes the DS2500's make the already good brakes much better - always check my mirrors before braking late to make sure no ones going to run into the back of me!
  8. why not get some fridge magnets and write it across your boot?
  9. Some of you may remember that I bought a personalised reg a couple of months ago... well, today they made it onto the car and it got a damn good clean although I still have the interior to do tomorrow! :D Really pleased with them and am chuffed with the reduced width front plate 8) Will update tomorrow with some decent pics...

    Car Mats

always used JustMatz for my cars and have never been dissapointed with the service nor the quality... had a problem once with the logo pealing off but they honoured me with a new set a whole year later - very impressive customer service IMO 8)
  11. Looking super-dooper matey! Has got me thinking about a new project now1
  12. Much better than the ones you had before! 8)
  13. You don't see many cars with Venom style rims because most people think they look horrid... we used to have plenty of kids putting them on their fords and citroens here in the UK but that was back in the late 90's now I guess!
  14. Says it all really! PMSL
  15. Moved to insurance I had a ban (long time ago now) and bought my first C when I got my licence back... I sorted my insurance through Brentacre and have been with them since as they've always been the best value for money IMO - you'll find their details here...
  16. OMG  Wonder if they ever sell anything?

    Window stuck open

Have you found the hidden screw behind the speaker grill?
  18. Dunno if it's a re-post but just found this on PH... looks bloddy good if you ask me! Full thread can be found here!
  19. I was half joking but at the same time I think your C is one of the few colours that could work against gold rims... tbh I'd leave as are or if you're set on changing them then I'd go body colour!
  20. Liking that a lot - epsecially the wheels with out the center caps 8)
  21. Nice one matey! Looks like a fab project and I look forward to hearing how it goes from here 8)
  22. Yeah mine used to do it - I think it just boils down to the damp air casuing your clocks to mist up when they start getting warmer! Mine used to do it more if it hadn't been driven for a couple of days so I'd put it down to damp interiors before I got worried about heater matrix...
