I thought we used to have a deffinative porker wheel thread but I couldn't find it anywhere  Anyways here's mine and a few others from my archives...

High Definition wax - is that full HD/1080P?

Very 'scene' :camp: Will look ace with your ghey paint though  -
Nice rims - is it your camera or does your paint look pink most of the time ;)
-
lol sorry mate - will remeber from now on that your name ends with a Lesy :D

The flat rear bench was fitted to all 2.0 16V C's in the UK - not sure about the 8V though but I'm sure WalEsy or Butterfly will be along shortly to confirm :)

 Damn credit crunch and all that - there's no way I can afford to get it back at the moment! Please someone off here buy it and sell it to me in 6-8 months! Nice to see it again though - doesn't look like it's had anything changed visualy and it still looks loved so thats some good news...

Thanks fella! yes an M5 would be a lovely mile munching barge and I'm sure it will handle the twisties well but it's no hot hatch or super coupe... I know what you mean about the C too... it always turned heads and even when the Leon is clean it doesn't have THAT presence! Here's how the LCR is sitting today - had a good bit of back road action earlier today - chirstmas day is always good for that and would have been even better in a C 8)
-
ah mate... now I'm really missing the C! Quiet country roads on a nice clear, crisp winter morning... say no more! I would however say that, my LCR may not be as cockpit like as the C but is pure brillience in the same situation and makes a lot more progess overall! Next C would have to be a VR to be able to deliver similar grin factor! I guess the M5 is more of a muscle cruiser though so I can see why the C will still have the edge for the fun and twisties 8)

Thanks for the kind comments on the C! tbh the reason it went was due to my daily having way more poke than the weekend toy! So, with that in mind I'd be careful about having an M5 as a daily as the C may start losing some of it's flavour! If/when I come back it will be in a VR unless L986 NGU... damn I miss it although I'm sure the beer and Champagne are adding to the sad feelings!
-
Cheers pal! You BBQ'd the turkey yet? I'm sure there will be another C at some point but I have to keep dreaming until finances are slightly more organised! Hope you've had a good one!

Just been sitting here and going through some old pics of my previous cars so have ended up feeling all sentimental abhout my old C! I sold it at the start of last year to a chap from Scotland who owned it for 6 months and then re-advertised it on Piston Heads - I'd have bought it back if I'd had the cash! Unfortunately I now have no idea where it is but I hope it's still being loved! Let me know if you have any info regarding it's where abouts! I'm certain that I'll have another some day and the funny thing is that I know that I'd still style it the same way! God I miss my old C... So my final thought for Christmas - if you're thinking of moving on from your C, DON'T you will miss it and want another! The corrado isn't just a car it's a way of life 8)
-
As Furkz says keep the valver if you're going the forced induction route otherwise cut your losses and go for the VR! Either way I'm sure you'll be happy with the outcome! What a nice situation to be in! 8)

pmsl

Yes mate... went in there yesterday afternoon in fact!
-
I'd use the one that The Phirm use to be honest mate... nice C though - but not keen on the gloss black rims tbh!
-
I always have the polish people in my village wash my LCR - I do far too many miles in a couple of weeks to even consider washing all the accumilated cr4p off it! They always do a good job at my local one - there's always at least 4 of 5 people working on your car at any one time and you're in and out in ten minutes - bit like organised crime! 8) I do wash it myself in the summer months as I find it quite relaxingf to take some time out and spend it on the car but winters just too damn cold and I'm far too busy!
-
Good to see it back on the vette rims 8)
-
think I prefer my colour although my next car will be white 8)
-
Nice but not a real R by the looks of it... rear wipers parked the oposite way round to mine too!?!
-
Not a real cupra R but it does look damn good in white 8)
-
Looks mint! 8)

Hello mate and happy christmas to you too! Nice to see the old faces pop up from time to time 8)

Was just thinking that...anyone been for a look to see what we're all being accused of? To be honest it'll be the same old CF is too cliquey, CF is so stuck up, CF think they're better than anyone else etc etc! But when you think about it there's a lot of us on here making the same comments about them so who gives a to$$! At the end of the day E38 does seem overly scene to me but at least they're all happy and at the end of the day something is only ever worth what someone will pay for it... so yes tatty old BBS RM's might be worth £700 to someone who values them - if you don't then you won't buy them and worldy balance is restored once more! The vw scene has changed over the years and doesn't have the same buzz that I used to love so much and wanted to be a part of. It's probably down to internet forums like ours and ''theirs'' and the attitude of all the haters on both sides of the fence... I'd rather just get on with what I enjoy, talk to those that I like and ignore those that I don't. I certainly haven't got time to bitch about the people that I don't like! Anyways it's all about STANCE now - scene is soo last year
