  1. woo-hoo! Came home to a parcel... label said: If undelivered please return to Justmatz :D Funny how they came today after posting about them at lunch time! Really pleased with them although I was expecting light grey stiching round them but tbh I think they look much better like this - a lot more OEM 8) If it wasn't getting dark already I'd be giving it a bit of a hoover out but it'll will have to wait until the weekend now...
  2. MOT's won't be a problem - public forum and all that ;) EDIT: Sorry, it's a early '94 L reg...
  3. Bloody clean and dare I say bright!!! have always thought the Auto shift looks weird in the C (guess it's what your used to at the end of the day though) Marcus on here has recently had his VR converted to manual by The Phirm and AFAIK they didn't have any problems with it at all... As far as price goes I'm guessing you picked it up for £2K-ish, as for value I know people with good condition manual VR's having trouble shifting them for £3.5K so would guess about £3K for an auto...
  4. Looks great and worth all the effort I'm sure... need to get me a nice end of year bonus that I can hide form the Mrs to pay for mine :D Look forward to seeing some more pics...
  5. I've always used the Autoglym Super Resin Polish follewed by a good wax and have always been really pleased with the results - noticed the paint is looking a bit 'swirly' under street lighting last night so will give it a good once over this evening if the rain holds off :D

    ABS 93 VR

I can't believe what some people do to cars and then sell them on knowing full well it's not 'safe' i had an ABS sensor replaced last week and am enjoying braking with confidence once again! It was worth the money just to lose the bloody bright light thats in your face the whole time when driving at night
  7. Bally, no mate... Dave's got a black one in good nick - it's just a matter of getting over there and picking it up
  8. biggerbigneil, Think they are planning to do it monthly - will let you know what happens... biggerbighouse  Look forward to the parties then! Lippy, going for a KR mechanical set up - Tim at the Phirm is confident that it'll be the easiest and cheepest way to sort it out and have full control over the fueling - don't think it's been done before so will keep things up to date with progress, power figures etc... Storm_Man, Will be there :D
  9. My boss doesn't like mine - it's too low and she has issues getting in and out! Doesn't help that she doesn't open the door far enough and it keeps closing on her as she's getting out
  10. Nothing new but got a nice pic of it at a meet last night :D (taken with Zippy's nice new camera!) New Justmatz (FOC :D ) should be here soon and will have a new fueling set up, cam and de-cat to get me running a bit sweeter...
  11. Looking good - want to see them on the car now ;)
  12. hmmmm :? the Phirm are having a get together herethis evening. I'm heading down there for 7.30/8ish let me know if you fancy it...
  13. diagnostics should be able to tell you exactly what it is... Have you been down to The Phirm yet?
  14. Looks like it was a right laugh - I'm sure those pics tell many stories 8)
  15. Why would anyone think it would be a good idea to have less brake lights
  16. I wish I could lock mine away for the winter :(
  17. I'd go for the Audi tbh... service history is the bit that I'm sold on and the fact the Golf could be running better! if it's only for the winter you could just get 6 months tax and see what you want to do come next March/April 8)
  18. Probably a stoopid question but, would the KR cam cause any of this? I ask as am about to put one in mine...
