Step away from the crack pipe! -

alpine vs other head units - want to match corrado interior
Phil K replied to dukest's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
I've got one of these and I love it... great sound and timeless styling :D -
Oh yeah I forgot about those bargain headlights I have going for only £50 (pair) how silly of me not to mention them
-
Having heard about the fun and games involved with removing a wing I'd say don't do it unless you have too tbh mate...
-
Fantastic cars and pics... like Jim says I would love to know how much the general/average salary is compared to us!
-
Ouch! That looks nasty :( Best of luck getting repairs sorted for it...
-
I 'think' it's only the front arches that differ...

Hello matey and welcome to the forum 8)

£4.5 to £5K if you find the right buyer IMO - depends how quick you want to sell it at the end of the day...
-
If you go for a headlight indicator option you'd be best advised to put it in the high beam section of the lamp so people can still see you indicate at night tbh... I'm not the biggest fan of this as I think it makes the C look like it's got a fat lip! However, one of my favorite C's - toffeerado - has this done and it suits it perfectly 8) I think Jbob has done his so the indicator sits in the lower splitter - his gallery will tell all I'm sure... Best of luck no matter what you decide :D

Sorry too much youwhoo at lunch time

Advice on lumpy, erratic 2.0 16v - being a bit crap again..
Phil K replied to Jim's topic in Engine Bay
Don't know if this will have anything to do with your problems but all mine have been related to the MAF! The problems range from no power over 4K, lumpy idle, lack of power/life, and most recently engine not running! I've had 4 units on there since I've owned it and they have all caused problems! Next plan is to lose the sensors and get the engine tuned up using purely the mechanical side of things - which may also improve my power too, although there is a slight danger of emissions being too high :D -
Got any Sandolin left?
-
 far too random

As said above really! If I was going to start again with another C I'd start with a drop followed by wheels and then body mods as I feel this is the best way to mod a car with out it looking odd at any point during the process...
-
I'm not aware if the 9A has a 'limp' mode :? Also think Dinky is right in saying it's level not temp for the light...
-
Looks sweet! I can understand why you're so chuffed - bloody good price too 8)
-
Looks great and I like the side exit too - I think it's one of those marmite mods tbh 8) Not sure about the rear plate and light - they kinda spoil the nice smooth look you've achieved - I'd like to have a go and reducing the size of the plate recess in the rear surround for a cleaner look... Front spoilers look good colour coded IMO but I've never been a fan of the 50mm ones and my CC'd 90mm is so damaged now it looks awful - will be changing to a standard black one soon... All in all it does look great and it's nice to see such a well thought out C with both new and old ideas so well executed 8)
-
I beleive this is Graphite as I bought a bumper off him hoping it would be Pearl but sadly it was slightly darker :( Car is looking seriously sweet on those rims - have always fancied a set myself 8)
-
tbh I thought the book figure for the 2.0 16V was closer to 7.3 seconds but maybe I'm making it up :? Anyone?
-
Will look spot on with D90's! Nice one mate 8)

Fish tank maybe if your screen leaks and or your sunroof channels are blocked  VW's do tend to be faily sturdy tbh - my mk1 Golf managed to write a fiesta off and only requiered a front pannel and wing to repair 8)
