I only use a troley jack to lift my car up... and I haven't had a flat (touch wood) so haven't found out if the VW jack will lift it high enough... sounds like it could be a real pain in the a**e though :roll:

does look classy though... can't imagine VW wanting to make something that nice though and if they do it'll be over priced anyway :lol:

GIXXERUK, used Evo-stik Impact multi purpose instant contact adhesive for them matey... it's pretty good stuff tbh - they've not dropped off yet anyway :lol: Yeah, I know what you guys mean about the centers need some kind of logo - might get some made up in vinyl to stick on... the Carrera logo's would be cool but could be a nightmare finding the right font - suggestions please :D And cheers for all the nice comments... Ant - put a pic up of yours with the BBS - bet it looks sweet 8)

They're on! :D Thought it would be a good time to update things fully too... so, in the last few months the C's had: 60mm drop, 2 sets of 17's (and the current ones will be staying) new mats, clock rings and shortened bee sting mast... still to fit - amp, sub and new n/s headlight lens! Will be off to Vince at the end of november to stay there for a while so the engine can be fully sorted and running ready for the spring - am hoping to get the dropping off to tie in with the RR day on the 27th so can catch up with a few of you then 8) Longer term plans involve getting the rust sorted on o/s wing, new bumper and spoiler, re-spray and late fogs (already have the indicators)

If it's going to be sat for any length of time it's worth getting the wheels off the floor or putting more air in so they don't flat spot... you can get low power de-humidifiers that you could leave running in the car to help with moisture - otherwise I'd have a go with silica gel. You can get fairly large bags of the stuff from photography shops. HTH

Thanks for the pics... damn they look good - even with brake dust ;) Ant I'm sure they are 7'' wide if they are running 205 40 17's which are the same size as the tyres on my TSW's - just thought it was a bit odd that Enzo list them as 8'' wide - all a bit confusing really! You got them off yet?

khurrado, I looked at the Enzo website ( http://www.enzo-wheels.com ) and it listed the 17's as 8'' wide! So they do come as 7's too then? You got any pics of yours matey?

Def not black - it's the same colour as Henny's G60... engine will be sorted as soon as the weather gets a bit worse and I can bear to be with out it again :? Still playing with the new virtual wheels and have been thinking about colour coding the centres... what do people think?
