  1. I always had voltage issues in my G60 since i bought it. I had various batteries ( Bosch Silver 66Ah at the moment ) and new voltage regulators. The problem remains. So i believe i might have alternator issues ( probably one or more fried semi-conductor ). Though i am not very worried, the car runs great anyway.
  2. Do you notice any additional performance with them?
  3. Sounds like the clutch to me... :?

    Engine mounts

I did all engine mounts this morning. It´s a DIY job for sure. Though the gearbox one is very tricky! The results? Amazing! Mutch more smoother ride and the car does not balance the same way on bumpy roads. Mine were all stock. I really reccomend all Corrado owners to replace them! It worth! :D
  8. Update! Now that the wintertime has arrived it seems that my new Golf G60 IC is taken advance with the 68mm pulley and 1.2 bar! I´m hitting 245km/h now! WOW! What a ride! :)
  9. Is your blue water temperature sender ok?
  10. You must ignore that mounting hole for the water radiator. Just place the IC in all holes. It will run ok. You will also need to bend those two iron clips to fix (on top) the water radiator properly.

    Clunking...

I have the same problem in my car. I replaced the front engine mount, which was broken in two. The annoying noise remains, i believe it could the gearbox mount, because the noise seems to come from there. The same noise/vibration is heard and you can feel in all over the car even with the car parked and the engine running.

    Engine mounts?

I did replace the front engine mount yesterday. The car had the same symthoms as said above, and you feel lots of vibrations inside the car. It is quite annoying... But the party isn´t over yet... because i didn´t get rid of the vibrations. I only got rid of the engine bouncing, so i suspect i might have the other mounts on their way off! By the way... The front one was broken in 2 parts!

  15. That throttle body looks mint! I would check the fuel pressure on the rail. That car has to run! :)
  16. My car does exactly the same since i bought it 2 years ago... Although the clucth and everything works great! I wouldn´t mind about that, i´ll wait until the time to change the clutch!
  17. Lancia Delta Integrale - Martini Racing Painting (gorgeous) Renault Clio V6 Older Ford Mustang VW Corrado´s are also very rare in Portugal as they were not sold here!
  18. The pinion/rack are adjustable. I found the how-to adjust on the bentley manual. I will be doing the adjustment this week. I hope i get sorted... The steeting is dodgy and very light. There is a big gap for sure! I´ll post some information then.
  19. For the Golf IC outlet you will only need to modify the old one: - The CO-Pot place from the original pipe (cut it with some big margin, otherwise you may damage it) - The other pipe from the stock IC (open a hole on it, you will weld the CO2 place here) - And a small IC rubber hose (short) i don´t remember correctly where i got it from... i believe it was from the IC inlet or even from the black silencer box from the charger... Of course... if you can get the orginal Golf G60 pipework that´s great! Take it as a hobby and save some pences! :-P I´ll paste a picture here tomorrow showing how it looks after the job. Maybe it will help. :)
  20. There´s another Golf MKII G60 Huge IC for sell on German eBay! Take a look! Worldwide delivery. http://cgi.ebay.de/VW-Golf-Rallye-Golf- ... 7993344486
  21. No need to expend money for this. You can build up your own CO2 Pipe. Have a look at the original Corrado pipes. All you need to do is to cut /remove with a solder-iron the CO Pot place from the original hose. And then place it on the IC one using the soldering iron once more ( You will need to open a hole on the pipe first, so than you can place it there). You may also use some metallic grill to reinforce the new pipe. Melting it on the plastic hose, you won´t see it in the end if you´re handy! This is how i made my own custom pipes. It works very well. I wish i had some pictures to stick here, as my english is a little poor...

    gear ratios

I find mine very short aswell. At 150mph it´s the engine is running at about 6300rpm. I can´t much faster as the engine is already in redline. I would like to have a longer 5th gear...
