Typical, just bought some DDJ Blue Velvet :( Intersted in trying the red mist detailer - 250ml is £7.95 how much for the 500 ml please? Bill

Thank you, yes for the rear lights I ordered red films here : http://www.empiregfx.com/shop/product.p ... 289&page=1, I just wait the package  The badges on the side repeaters are real VW Wolfsburg Edition :) As I have already repeaters in the both sides of the US front bumper, I don't want to remove them. Super car Franck  , I would spray the lights rather than film - looks so much better, this is the best stuff to use from ebay. Item number: 190299413922

Check and see if your sunroof works and if not it's probably the fuse, 15A I think and operates the lighter, roof, interior and I think glove box lights. When you look at the fusebox it's one of the last few at the right hand side. HTH -
Here it is :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0365341348

Ouch  - they do look good though!
-
Wheels look good :) where did you get them done and are they painted or powder coated, and price?
-
Are you using Savage tint spray Nathan? The general opinion seems to suggest that it's the best choice for tinting the rear lights :) Oh, and the respray looks great, my favourite colour too by coincidence

Uniroyal are Conti and were a premium brand before Conti bought them out and as far as I knew when I worked there years ago there was no difference between the 2 in terms of tyre construction they just tend to make the Contis look a bit sportier and then charge more for them. Most of the major tyre manufacturers produce a cheaper brand but don't really publicise it. I believe Semperit are made by Conti too as they were made by Uniroyal when I worked there - worth a look at those too :)

Had the same problem with a flat battery when I had the Scorpion fitted and called the AA and he disconnected the battery for about 15 mins then reconnected and jump started the car. He said that battery problems can sometimes screw up the alarm and resetting it in this way sorts the problem. Worth a try just to see.

I'd be happy to eat my dinner off that Dave :) Looks fantastic  What exhaust have you got on? - looks like a non-standard stainless - that'll lose you points at Stanford :)

Descending into respectability is a slippery slope Michael , but if you're house buying nows the time to do it. Buy a nice tunable TDI and you'll still have bags of fun :) The torque is addictive.

As a start point try swapping the switches over from the passenger seat.
-
Hi Neil, As you've successfully wired in the seat heating any chance you could stick some pics on this thread of the finished wiring as it would be very useful to me and others no doubt who still need to do this. TIA, Bill
-
So don't you just need to put a female connector on to the black wire and connect it to the green plug that you've marked up as "goes to D9"?
-
Should've happened a lot sooner 8) Is it in the current mag Shaun or is it gonna be in a future issue?

Try this http://www.dsldevelopments.com/?gclid=C ... Qgodli8jmg These brackets are great and made to fit into gaps and slots for specific cars, then you just fit the dedicated phone, ipod, satnav holder on to them. If you buy the moveit clips you can transfer the holders to 2nd car with the appropriate bracket :)

Have done this but probably about 10 years agoin pre-wiki times. IIRC the bolster covers are separate to the base cover and the base cover is secured at the rear with a plastic trip. the bolster covers have a wire runnning through loops in them them which I think is secured by metal rings. It is pretty straightforward and no more difficult than removing a standard seat base cover. HTH :)

Thanks Dave :)

Can anyone confirm if this is the correct replacement bearing? http://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/p6251/ ... _info.html

Believe the drivers door has a master switch which operates the pump and creates a vaccum which locks/unlocks the passenger door and boot and that's why you can open the passenger door. Blowing down the tube is no good for this reason. I would check that the vaccum pipes are all connected properly first.
