    Not a bad idea that.
  3. Nice Splitty pip. Are you bringing it to Stanford Hall? I have always wanted a split too. If you have 26 grand, YES TWENTY SIX GRAND!!! lying about, check this beauty out! (Thicko here, doesn't know how to change the link so its not so long and just says a word of your choice. can someone teach me this simple skill sometime please?) http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=246286 [/b]
  4. Nice! love it. keep us posted with what you do with it mate.
  5. welcome to the greatest forum in the world mate
  6. blimey! just read all 5 pages of this, and forgot that i was even at work! i agree with Tempest and Dinkus' points, they make the most sense and logic. And defo agree that the forum shouldnt be free, or at least not all aspects of it should be free. Of course, this is Andis' decision as its his forum, but it has obviously moved on and grown from its original conception. For all the time the mods put into it and the cost of running it, there ought to be some sort of charge. It is definitely one of the best, most professional and well run forums i have used.
  7. was waiting for someone to mention them! I had one which went pretty much the way my VR goes... Like something off a shovel!
  8. My first impression from reading this thread and replies was also bearings. Go with that first like kevHaywire, has suggested mate.

    ICE help

Vibe do a good range of subs with built in amps. they arent mega moeny either.
  10. Its a Vibe. You always get loads of advice of whats good and whats not good. At the end of the day its your ears and your listening tastes that will decide what you think is or isnt good. I can say that i am 100% satisfied with the 10" Vibe sub box in my car, apart from the fact that it uses up a bit more boot space than i would have liked it to, plus it doesnt sit flat because of the spare tyre bump. But who cares! Its not that often i need all the space or look in the boot. From a sound quality point of view its perfect for me.
  11. You could buy a sub with its own built in amp which will just power the sub, and leaves you to run the speakers from the head unit. You dont need a huge sub either. only downside is you will lose boot space. I have a 10" in mine, and i cant for the life of me remember the make, but i am well pleased with it. sounds great, and can be controlled from the head unit. Will look at the make and let you know on this thread what it is.
  12. first time i sat behind the wheel, and then drove it. The overall drive. (and that funky spoiler had something to do with it. although now you dont even notice it as such!)
  13. i would say get legal advice, and also contact your insurers as they will have legal help as well as past experience on this sort of thing. I would be very sad and upset if this happened to me. Got to get it sorted tho, thats the main thing!
  14. Have done most of the mods on my interior lighting. Only thing i havent done is make them light up blue. Has anyone tried these and had any joy with them? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CORRADO-16v-G60-V ... dZViewItem
  15. Reg Vardy in Leicester has got to be one of the worst! You can half an hour just waiting to be served! Thats your whole lunch break gone!
  16. got no complaints with mine. they've been on over a year, and are still like new.
  17. mine sits on the drive or road. wish it could live in the garage, its so much better more keepin it nice and clean! you spend a sunday afternoon cleaning it, leave it out sunday night, it rains and by Monday it looks like it did on Sunday morning!
  18. When my uncle was pulled in his Rangey, he actually said to the cozzer, that he sees cars much worse with totally blacked out windows driving around... the cozzers only response was "well i guess its not your day then is it?" Like you say, you cant pleed ignorance to it either. I think they have just found another piggy bank are are cashing in on it!
  19. the official line on all this bollox is to do with terrorism! and to do with not being able to see properly inside cars! Same thing with incorrect number plate spacing and number plate recognition systems. Of course we all want to see potential terrorists being caught and stopped before they can do some damage, but sometimes it does make you wonder whether they just play the "terrorism" card as a way of getting away with becoming more and more of a nanny state and picking on the genuine tax paying motorists! PS, me mentioning the word "terrorist" has probably meant the FBI, CIA, CID, MI5 are all now hawking over this website! In whcih case.....Hello Boys!
  20. Blackberry is a lovely colour, and you dont really see that many about in that colour, although you dont see many Corrados about generally! Got any pics of your motor mate?
  21. the whole idea sounds ridiculous! I know all my neighbours would buy them and permanently have them set up against my car! They all drive Zafiras and Rovers!
  22. That was a great Top Gear! 3 guys, just having fun messing about with cars! The sort of thing i reckon alot of people here would love to do. Just being silly with cars! What a laugh! As for the programme afterwards! (Petrolheads) What a load of crap! What kind of questions were they? Was the crappest thing i have seen in ages. Compared to programmes like Buzzcocks and Have I Got News, that was just pure rubbish! I dont think Neil Morrisey knew where he was without a script!
