what would be a good approximate amount as "cash spare" to get this job done? I know it depends where you take it etc, but was just wondering what a rough figure would be?

i never see any scirrocos on the road anymore so wouldnt know. New Beetle drivers never wave or flash or acknowledge each other, or "old" original beetles whatsoever. When im in my 1974 Beetle, occasionaly they look, but they look all confused and bewildered.

they dont light up, but wouldnt it be cool if they did!

Well, i think the brakes on my Corrado are really crap. I reckon it ought to be my next mod. Its all well and good having lots of horse power, but its crap unless you can stop when you need to.

nice or not nice, still dont think they should have mentioned Corrado in the same sentence. Ah well, hey ho! Im about to wash mine in a little while soon as the hangover wears off, and take it for a little blast. What better way to start your sunday!

you are right...that is the one. i must've got confused. It was an S3 i sat in.

those Audis are rapid, even as standard. Havent they got the same engine as the TT's and the quattro? The one I sat in as a passenger was standard, but it felt seriously quick. Dont know how it compares to the VR for torque tho. anyone raced one?

dutch if its the car that i think it is, you have got an absolute corker of a car mate. The bodywork was like factory, and the leather interior was also mint, and i think really it suited the car. He has also spent some time and money on getting some of the mechanical sides spot on too. Like you say, a bit anal, but lets face it, they are the sort of owners you want to buy cars from, cos you know everything will be dead right. If i didnt have the Corrado i have now, that would have probably been the car i would've bought cos it was just so mint and everything was like it has just left the factory. Low mileage too if i remember rightly.

was it from a farmer bloke, and did he tell you that he took it to E38?

that grey one on the trader is an absolute minter if its the one i saw @ E38. I would have bought it, but theres only room for one VR6 in my garage! dutch, any joy so far?

Spotted a Red VR on the M69 last night around 8ish. L*** *JP i think it was, with 2 girls driving. I was in the aqua blue VR and you waved and flashed. Was it you? EDIT - flashed your lights that was supposed to say.

when i was young and reckless got a 1 year ban, also later got 10 points for one single offence! But for the last 10 years its been totally clean (apart from a sodding SP30 last year for doing 34mph!)
