  6. Happy New Year Everyone.....wishing you all health and happiness for 2014 :thumbleft:
  7. ahh no worries then, just out of interest, is your K04 turbo in the same housing as the K03/K03s?? mine is apparently the same so am a little unsure which downpipe to be buying!
  8. is that for sale fella? Ive got a AGU lump with K04 Turbo for conversion....
  9. M reg Blue Storm spotted parked up st Andrews Area of Harrogate...
  10. Yeah got it a couple of months ago, got what i though was a good price for it too, he wanted £1000, after the sob story of "youll be helping to get a Corrado back on the road" etc etc etc got it for £650, bargain i thought!
  11. come help me clean my garage up so I can fit the C in, take the vr engine out, and you can have one for FREEEEEE!!!!!!!
  12. I rang the ebay chap up and had a chat with himm, they sound like they know what they are doing, I'd recommend ringing them up first before paying to get revo'd, I understand many people have been pleased with revo and what they do, I personally have no experience with them, but apparently it is something to do with the way they map, you have to stay with revo and only use their maps / tuning stuff... The engine for my conversion (after much umming and aring) is a 230bhp pre-tuned Oettinger engine from a mk4 golf GTi, you can pretty much get around 200bhp from a 1.8 20vT with just a basic remap so should be a easy number to reach
  13. Im looking at getting similar done with a chap on ebay...£300 to splice the engine looms, and also to drop the immobiliser off the ECU. I was told by various people to avoid going revo as it impact further tuning.... Im also using this ebay chap as the ECU I have for the conversion is already tuned to 230bhp and a revo map would overwrite it...
  14. could you PM me your email please buddy? will then send some over to you if thats ok
  15. sounds about right to my ears - unless I'm missing something and "sure we all look at ours" - I look at where mine used to be...
  16. Id be interested in this buddy...
  17. Hi tman, sorry but someone beat ya to it! good luck finding one for the MOT fella
  18. Yeah I have a booklet etc from oettinger, also the service history is stamped up by oettinger...thinking I might have to look into getting a few parts for the conversion lol
  19. Unfortunatley I think the only massive alteration to the engine from Oettinger is the turbo....This is from their website... OETTINGER turbocharger OETTINGER sports exhaust system (down pipe, rear and front silencer, twin tail pipes Ø76 mm) Recalibration of the engine management Modified air intake tract front brak Like I said I am very very very tempted to pop this engine in as a replacement for my VR. Just dont know if Im ready to lose the VR soundtrack or not....
  20. Please someone buy this from me before I get even more tempted to remove the VR and replace with this....cant decide what to do but If someone buys this off me I wont have a choice lol :bonk:
  21. I put a MK3 Golf Sunroof into my early valver and the hole allignment was fine, bolted on perfectly - the glass roof itself from a MK3 is too curved for the corrado roof line, but that is where the B3/B4 glass roof would come in. The glass from the passat fits perfectly with the corrado roof line, and also into the MK3 Golf Mech which in turn fits the Corrado...It is quite a faf locating all required parts for that though. If your not wanting a glass panel and want to keep the existing metal panel, put it into the MK3 Golf mech and you shouldnt have any problems....Ill probably be doing this in the near future...
