  1. Cheers guys, will get that sorted... Will new bulbs off of ebay be suffice?
  2. I was happily driving along this evening and then the engine cut out, I had to get the hazards on and come to a stop, remove the key, give it a few seconds and then start her up again, did this about 6 times through out about 30 mins of driving with no obvious similarities each time. Did it when out of gear, when in gear decelerating and also in gear accelerating. I couldnt find anything that linked them all together... Corrado had been stood for a while before I got her, and she only got on the road yesterday after passing MOT etc, gave her a good half tank of BP Ultimate (Shell Vpower garage is currently being refurbed) and a quarter of a bottle of redex to match petrol litreage. Thats about all thats been done to her and what was happening, any help would be amazing as I'm not trusting for long journey's/motorways now
  3. Yeah tried that, it goes from off to dull lol
  4. Hi all, I really cant see the clocks in the Dark...The lights come on but the green lights on the clocks are really dim, Any one any ideas on the fix or how to make it so I can see them? Is it as simple as the cheap LED's on ebay? or something better out there/something I can change on the car? Thanks in advance...

  7. Apparently insurance can also be based / have included volume of crashes / incidents...As the Merc is a more "common" car than the corrado, chances are it has been involved in more incidents so the insurance could be higher...
  8. Looks good fella, Just watch ya temps when that radiator is on, I came close to cooking some of my fish that way!
  9. I fitted one to test and the frame fitted fine. The only issue I had was the shape of the glass sun roof panel, it was too curbed so at the peak it was too high to fit. Im told (havnt done it) you can put your corrados panel into the mk3 golf frame and mount that in fine, I have a mk3 sun roof if your intrested...would need the glass swapping out as described above
  10. I have never used it but.... mate with a Pug GTi6 used it, ended up clogging up the system as it turned the coolant to what looked like Jelly. Engine overheated and caused all sorts of problems for him...still hasnt managed to fully clean it out...personally I would stay well away...
  11. send it to yorkshire please :-) like driving in the snow, make some good proper use of the handbrake in car parks - obviously when other cars are not in there and not in the rado either!
  12. Sorry fella, edited the original post with a price...

  16. Cheers Charlie, Will defo have to have a look at getting it done, I think it would completely change the look of the car.....Would be mint if you could get some pics of yours and possibly a few steps too.... Is the welding part essential? I havnt got a welder and wouldnt know where to begin with it lol
  17. Ive just got rid of the kr and now have a vr. Both feel pretty much the same on the road, vr feels a fair bit quicker in my opinion....main difference for me... gotta be the sound, foot down in the vr and you will just sit there smiling at the acoustics.....EVERYTIME!
  18. I had a similar problem with my Golf Gti (1.8t AUM engine) when I bought her. Had been sat for a few months prior to purchase, and she would randomly cut out, i think it was about 6 times on the journey home (40-50 miles). I cleaned the air filter thouroughly and air intakes so she could breath properly first. Mates with more knowledge than me said possibly due to some sediment / blockage somewhere, possibly fuel... so in nuetral on the drive just kept trying to get the revs up and clear the suspected blockage. After a about 15 - 20 mins of doing this she was fine and have no problems since. As soon as she was running I got a full tank and some of that redex in her. Give the car a shake and wobble while she is stood, could be sediment in the fuel tank partially blocking over the fuel lines??? Thats about as far as my knowledge goes....fingers crossed someone else on here may be able to help further if the above doesnt....best of luck Bobby
  19. was thinking the same...had to restrain from commenting
  20. Hi all, I have recently got myself a K reg VR6 in that really nice dark blue colour, am thinking a cream /biege/tan leather interior (seats and door cards) would look really nice inside. Does any one have a cream /biege/tan set? doesnt need to be perfect condition... Thanks guys
  21. Could you be a little more specific with your information please lol
  22. Moved the 16 valve to a new home, and fell in love with the sound of my new VR6 on the first drive
  23. Will let you use mine for a test - if the parts stay on afterwards that is :-))
