Hi fella, I have a square late black one from a vr, and an early grey one too from a valver
-
My old valved was like that, I had to pull the bonnet release lever once and the drivers side would release, and the second time to release the passenger side, it was only when the valver went I found out it shouldn't be doing that! Try trigger it twice for a quick fix!
-
Any ideas on what would be causing or what can be done if the oil is at that sort of temp (mine is also up in those high figures too!)
-
Does anyone have a Diagnostics tool thats close for a 93 VR6? Would like to get to the bottom of this quickly before it turns nasty!
-
Sounds good to me fella, sent you a PM
-
OK will have a look tonight and get back to you fella
-
What colour carpets you after? Think I have a full black boot carpet and grey boot side carpets...

Hi Ray, When it was on the valver the needle would move on its own even on idle. I dont know if it is the rev counter that is faulty or that the engine in the valver wasnt great. The idle from the engine sounded ok, wasnt massivley lumpy etc so not sure...The needle moved would move about 1 rev range up and down from wherever the revs where around. £15 posted and can refund if it isnt working / fixable...

hmmmm, the negative side tightens pretty good, the positive terminal tightens but I can still spin it sideways....is it possible to buy new clamps? or maybes add a thin layer of copper or something inside the clamp to make it tighter?
-
Only Just Chris haha, will have to get a meet sorted in them at some point!
-
Have tightened the battery terminals up, the positive is still a bit lose and can turn on the terminal, but I also changed the battery a newer one from my golf GTi, so far so good!
