There are midlands meets but they're usually south of Leicester. Stanford Hall is coming up soon http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... t=stanford -

Hi, I'm just of M1 J25. You need to get pics up. -
Cruella Deville owns the Lagonda
-
Is it me or does that exhaust look pissed?
-
Good to hear forum members getting together to help each other and cutting costs. It should be done more often, that way we save money and meet each other.
-
Yep, looking great!
-
Now I do like those. Looks like you've got an alignment problem on the left side.
-
I like it - nice one.
-
Thanks Scott, I'll hold you to that.
-
That's nice to know :D
-
I've noticed a slight drop on one side of mine. I might make up some steel 'shims' to compensate.

The Mods are coming...............

Just remembered I've got a pic from my last Rado. It's on the right hand side.
-
It clips onto the panel but can't remember which way. Not sure what is secures but it doesn't clip to the rubber insert. If I get time I'll pull my handle out and take a pic.
-
andy, Took the seal off cleaned it and back on, I used washing up liquid to help it back on and found it much easier.
-
It clips onto the handle opening in the door, end closest to the hinges if I remember correctly.
-
I did consider doing this but thought sod it, I'll sell it and buy the right one.

Looking into this further some most websites have the 33-2029 listed for the 8v and 33-3032 for the 16v. What is the 'correct' part number for the 8v? The filter I have is no good to me so will try to sell it on but don't really want to mislead anyone.
-
Yep 33-2029 is exactly 5mm shorter - 306mm against 311mm. Although the 16v is not listed here http://www.knfilters.com/search/applica ... od=33-2029 Many thanks for clearing that one up. Thought I was going crazy.

I've managed to acquire a used K&N filter for my 2L 16v but it doesn't appear to be the correct size. It's about 5mm too long which is too much to be able to squeeze it in, I've checked the part number on the K&N website and it tallys up ok with my car. Part number is 33-2032 and the size matches the size on their website. The old paper filter fits ok and is 5mm shorter. I've got 2 air boxes and it doesn't fit any. Had a K&N filter on my old valver and that was ok. Anyone had this problem? Edit - this one http://www.knfilters.com/search/product ... od=33-2032

4 bolts underneath, 2 each side and you will need a 17mm socket. The bumper just slides out.
