  5. Gonna wash and polish mine this Sunday for the first time since I bought it at the beginning of December. Before anyone says I'm bone idle, I've been sorting loads of other problems first but it has been garaged in that time.
  6. The handle should pull out about 7mm before you feel the striker arm engage.

  12. If only Id have known!! Im a newbie please forgive me :-) I must admit the instructions and postage time off ebay were terrible and ive still not managed to get the old shim pins out. Ok you're forgiven but you WILL know better next time :wink: Give me a shout if you need help with the handle.

  14. I would also check the seal underneath the fan inlet duct. They were still available from VW about 3 months back and are easy to fit.
  15. NO NO NO - don't buy them off ebay, mine are better, you know who you're buying from (sort of) and I give great after sales support :D
  16. You can fit the kit without it being broken and it's fairly easy to fit although a little fiddely.
