    K&N Confusion

I think you need to look into this a little deeper. I had a 3032 which was 311mm long and it didn't fit my valver. I think you need the the 3029 at 306mm which drops stright in. There are other threads on this very subject.
  3. Made another bracket today Jim. I'll PM you the details.
  4. just hope the legs don't collapse.
  5. Not coming to the AGM this time, spending most weekends getting the Rado ready for the road. I'll let you know about the bits, I'm gonna make some more but do a better job of them as I rushed the those in the pics just to get it back together. Hopefully I should have something done this week. Dave
  6. I was gonna say that but thought no that's just childish! Just kiddin
  7. I did this recently with the bumper on. I made up some tapped S/S plates, big S/S washers and screws. Worked a treat and won't ever rust, I'll take a pic tomorrow. I think I've got some spares if you want em Jim. Edit - photo attached.

    205 or 215?

Not 100% decided yet but they're about the same price as the F1's. Anyone had good/bad service from mytyres.co.uk?

    205 or 215?

Thanks for the input, I'm gonna go with 215/40/16 to keep as close to the original rolling circumference and it'll give me a slightly wider tyre. Will probably go for Eagle F1's. Thanks

    205 or 215?

I'll be buying new rubber in the next few weeks for my 7 x 16" rims. What are peeps opinions on 205/45/16 against 215/40/16? The 215's are closer to the rolling circumference of the originals but I think are much less common so I might not be able to get the brand I want. I used this link for sizing, quite good I reckon. http://www.troyautopoint.co.uk/tyrecalculator.htm Thanks Dave
  12. Made my own. I work in the Stainless fab industry.
  13. ...............fitting gauge surrounds.
  14. There are 2 clips on either side, if I free these it's still not budging.
  15. Its the clear plastic fascia that I need to remove. I've removed the 2 screws so that I have the clock assembly in 2 piece's - the front and the back.
  16. How do I remove the clear plastic panel from the clock assembly? I've searched but couldn't find anything. Thanks
  17. ...........and their heads are much bigger now
  18. Isn't there a sticker on the inner wing at the side of the airbox.
  19. What is it that makes an exhaust loud? Is it just the back box, is it the silencers, bore size or a combination of things? Thanks
  20. Looks great Scott, you'll have to drive over to my place, I need to see it. If you need any Stainless brackets making up for your plate, just give me a shout. Dave
