Probably this one.

tez, This is possibly the most common fault on the Corrado which is why I developed a repair kit for it at a fraction of the price of a new handle. New handles are about £50 at their cheapest but in time even new ones will give up. You could try a used handle but again it's probably on its way out. Passat rear handles are a common replacement if you want to go delocked. PM me if you're interested in a kit. Cheers Dave

That'll be the undocumented G-meter?

Steve, Correct me if I'm wrong but that's not Classic Green, unless the light is playing tricks on me.

Big thanks to Paul (RapidVII) for the gear surround, gaiter and knob. Very prompt delivery - cheers mate.

Now where did I put my dinner plate, oh never mind I'll eat it off that Corrado! -
It's a case of 'you get what you pay for' I'm afraid but you knew that anyway. Good luck with it, I'm sure you'll have it sweet in no time.

They get my vote too.

Trimsport cannot do a rear strut brace group buy!

If it's not treading on peoples toes I could probably get these braces knocked up. After all I do work for a Stainless manufacturer. Cheers Dave -
Had this many moons ago. Indeed there is a plastic guide that travels up and down the runner, there is a good chance this has come away from the glass. Take the door card off and have a look. You'll see the glue still attached to the glass. I stuck it back on with plenty of superglue but be careful there isn't alot of space to get your hand in. It reduced alot of the thud.

Nice one Jim (& scarlett), looks very tidy indeed.

I had a similar thing happen at a business park that had huge steel gates. The wind blew the gate onto the side of my car (car was parked in a proper parking space) and damaged the door and mirror. The gate wasn't tethered back and I was able to claim for damages from the insurance company who were responsible for the site. I'd speak to Tesco - worth a try.

PeterMunns, Sold the valver over 6 months back. Now have 1.8T Passat - needed more space and practicality. You came round a bend looking very flat and then I recognised the plate as someone on the Forum but couldn't remember who.

red corrado16v, Glad you're happy. I had a very good weekend. Pic attached - me on the bridge.

Pete, I was in the lakes this weekend too, Friday to Monday and you passed me at about 10.30 today (Monday) on the A593 (I think) just outside Coniston. I was driving a Black Passat. Do you remember? Dave
