Yep sure no probs.

Yep will let you know about the cable ties. The OBD2 conversion is going well, more work than the guides let on though but I am doing it on my own and being very careful with wiring which is really what the conversion is all about. My Golf loom appears to have a 12 point (if I remember correctly) connector attached which isn't mentioned in the CF guide or the guide on the Canada club website so I've had to trace wiring and make up/transfer wiring. There are 1 or 2 other things not mentioned in the guides. I'm learning new stuff though.

Yes they have the guards on them. Give me a few days as I'm up to my neck in the OBD2 conversion.

Pete, I didn't know until I'd cut through them all but there is a tiny release lever on them so you can re-use them. I spoke to the parts guy at TPS today and he's pointed me in the Vauxhall direction so I've got some on order from them, probably be completely wrong when I see them. Dave

Looking for the cable ties that are used to tie back harnesses in the engine bay, these are the type that push onto studs. They're not available from the dealer, I've managed to find the original items on the net but I have to buy a billion of em. Thanks

I've got 12" and 24" digimatic vernier calipers and I know how to use them. I've also got a spare set of bearing carriers with BJ's fitted and I'll be swapping out the wishbones for refurbed items soon. Let me know if I can help out. Dave

Gaz, the corner shouldn't cause a problem and yes the internal and external sizes are identical. Yeah seals are available from VAG. Jim, I guess it depends on demand and price. I've got some testing to do first and already I'm wanting to make a slight change. I can't see them being available before Xmas. Redfox, just for you................

Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE
daves16v replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
You have to remove the door card and the handle before you can start the repair so allow an hour for that if you've never done it before. It can be a little fiddly to repair but I do include an install guide. -
Going to have to pull out on this, car will be in bits at the weekend trying to get the OBD2 conversion done and other bits done before the rolling road day.

I printed it off a few weeks back but I think I used IE.

Just missed this tonight but got it set for record in about 24 hours. Anyone know if the cars need to have their stock engine to race?
-
Nice work Kev, looks very stock.

Appreciate the comments guys. Monza, not going to release that info just yet, sorry if it sounds selfish.

Hey Asaad, that looks good, first time I've seen one on a Beige interior.
