as an ex nugget owner all be a valver not a G60 , the main issue with the colour was it was only produced end of f ,g h, and start of j reg about 3 years total it was rare before the rust set in youngest car is 18 years old now , i like to think by j reg they were having problems with the paint fading badly so they pulled the colour from the option list , story goes it was the first yellow vw had used without lead in the paint first since the yellow used on the mk1 golf/ mk 2 polo Rob

its an air leak , the 40 seconds or so is max run auto shut off , mine would do it if i left it for a few days and the air leaked out of the tubes sometimes i would need to lock and unlock again to pop the locks ,its a pain but as long as the door unlocks no worries Rob
-
saw one on a mk2 jetta a few years back .look crap as he used the blade that didn't suit the lines of the car , to make it look ok i think you would need to use a suitable blade to match the car its on rob

halfords paint is not a good match , add the "new boy mixing it "a few years polish and sun fade and theres not a hope in hell of getting a good match dealers are better but not perfect Rob

good link that very interesting to compare cars the weight is the big differance pulled the 10.2 figure off the net somewhere listed here in a c2 autocar test but also list 0-60 times quicker so who knows , bhp figure is listed as 320 by porsche , but does a few bhp or a couple of seconds really matter most cars make more than claimed and 0-60 times given by manufacturer are hard to achive in the real world :D Rob
-
3.6 l 320 bhp 0-60 5.1 sec 0 -100 10.2 , would think your s5 is a lot heavier and turboed .theres alloy sub frames and struts + alloy bonnet , plastic rear engine covers etc on the porsche and its non turbo the gt3 has 100 bhp per litre with 360 bhp from its 3.6 litre non turbo Rob

got the car for here http://www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/ Came with a 12 months bumper to bumper warranty , had one issue so far that was sorted out quickly by Cardiff OPC and coverd by this , the car averaging 27-28 mpg i'll say that again because it don't sink in fist time 27-28 mpg which is unbelievable was expecting low twenty's the corrado 16v only averaged 32-33 mpg , insurance is under £600 and the C was just under £300 excess is higher but thats the only change , had 155 mph on a private stretch of road :) still pulling like a train in 5th i think with enough road it wold do the claimed top speed of 170 + looks like a trip to the autobarn is on the cards  tax is cheaper than my 02 audi A3 so all in all very happy Rob ' ' How the hell do you get 27-28mpg out of the Porker!? My S5 is giving me 17-18mpg if I go easy on it. find it hard to beleive myself i was expecting low twentys at best the new 997 they claim 40+ if you take it easy , there are a few on the porsche forums claiming average more than mine Rob

yes 996 c4s is my new toy had it about 5 months and put about 3K on it over the summer it won't be used much over the winter , but i think the point that i was trying to make is the porsche cost 30 x as much as i sold the corrado for but the smile on my face isn't 30 x as wide , don't get me wrong the porsche is a monster of a dream car but the corrado is not that far away Rob
-
owned my corrado 9+years took something good to get me to move on but right up to the day it went it was still a great car and still put a big smile on my face replaced it with this , long story Rob
-
you can but i wouldn't mess with it your life and others depend on it , pick up another one and try again , just my advice threads don't seal it anyway but if the seat angle of the bigger nipple and the calliper don't match or you damage the seat with he tap its scrap , pop down the scrapies and check nipples before you buy if they snap leave them on the car no charge Rob
-
you can hook it out with a wire coat hanger done it lots of times Rob
