Love that colour!!! 8) 8) You should get some of the empire graphics tint film for the front headlights if you are going for the mean/evil look. Looks a bit squinty eyed at the moment imho.

Relay stuck closed? Unplug it and give it a good tap. Or better still swap it for a know good one.

Looks mint!!! There seems to be a steady stream of rados making their way over to Ireland now! what happened that silver one in the background in the first pic though?!?!

Gutted to hear that!! I have a pair of extinguishers (one in the boot, and one in the cab), as I'm pretty paranoid about something catching!......But I wont be happy until I have a fully plumbed in system........my only worry with that would be would be some numpty doing a Dougal and pressing the shiny red button in the dash and filling the engine bay with foam

Low feedback seller, not a great description and one poor photograph will not have helped that auction at all though!

There is a whole rabbit warren of coolant hoses down under the alternator on valvers. Bottom rad pipe, to/from the oil cooler, the hose from the heather matrix actually connects in there (via a metal pipe). The one I've most commonly seen go is a 'T' shaped one that connects into the oil cooler. But tbh it could be any of them that's leaking. The only way to be sure is to get in there with a torch! (and be prepared for many a scraped knuckle and many a swearword when trying to replace any hose down there :bad-words: ) Also, don't go near GSF hoses, a mate of mine fitted one and it was completely fupped and disintegrating after only a couple of months of use! :pale:

It's caused by the oil getting thrown to one side of the sump while cornering. the oil pump will momentarily be sucking air, and your oil pressure will drop. Make sure your oil is topped up. Also do a search through the forum, and there is loads more info to be found on the topic!

Minty!!! (In more than one sense of the word) What are the specs!?! Anymore photos?

Well. Despite your best efforts, you have the answer to your original question anyway. Well I did a quick search through your 4 previous posts on the forum; as I was wondering why you were getting abusive with one of the Mods so quickly, and I saw you had already started a thread on almost the exact same topic. Just wondering why you started the 2nd thread really! So in your first 8 posts on the forum you have called me a: and a and suggested Walsey's first reply to you was: , and You're off to a good start on here!

:censored: :censored: :cuckoo: That pic was taken from a Vr6 thread on intermittent wiper relays from VWvortex. The relay is in the same position as in G60's etc.

Confusing thing is that nokomis already asked the same question, and got the same answer last Saturday??! http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=67762

This is where I got my flywheel! Bildon Motorsports

Think some of the 'issues' with the looms were way back in 2006. So a while before you were registered.
-
There are quite a few cars being broken for parts on here at the moment, so I'm sure you should be able to find what you are after!
-
Welcome to the forum!! Are you the guy who bought the central locking loom off me on Ebay? (I passed on a link to the forum to someone in Greece rebuilding a rado anyways)

Just talking about it yesterday with a few mates!.....We used to have great 4 player sessions of MC on the old N64....got pretty rowdy at times!  Looking forward to seeing the new one!

emmm, that's a pic of the whole rhs of the head! I'm going to take a guess that you are referring to the part with the two metal fuel lines and the grey two pin plug? that's the warm up regulator! The thermostat is on the other side of the engine completely. It's on the lhs of the engine as you look from the front. Down low beneath the alternator, you can see a couple of coolant pipes. The thermostat is in a plastic 90 deg angled pipe section right down at the bottom of these pipes, close to the top of the sump!

Coolant temp sensor. Very cheap and easy to replace

Cant go too far wrong for 28 quid! Hope you get it sorted soon anyway!

Dude! I have one of those sections spare, if you need it! It's a Unipart branded pipe that I had fitted a few years back, it's only covered about 4-5k and was only taken off when I was fitting the s/s pipe. Let me know if it's of any use to you!

Yup, there should be 4 silences on the 1.8L 16v's. The large rear box and centre box, a silencer on the downpipe and another on the small straight pipe section. That one is actually a resonator and not a true silencer though!

Is that safe? I mean you could well be loading the dampers with vertical forces for which they are not designed, i.e. extra forces due to gravity, plus the springs will be forcing them further in that direction potentially past their limit? I know from trying to man-handle a rear beam that they are not light! Just wondering really, looking forward to the science! :D :dorky: :salute: Mehh, shocks have pretty tough upper limit stops, so I wouldn't be overly worried about damaging them by doing that, but it only takes a couple of secs to actually unbolt the beam from the shocks, so I normally just remove the whole thing! :|
