    As you say, it´s down to how people set the numbers attending. Alas people do not just register the car. Don´t worry, if the site says all booked out and I count less than 50 cars, than I´ll just bump up the numbers further allowing more people to register. Tempest

    Yup, that´s the first thing I checked. Also tried both VINs, the US one (where the Z characters are replaced with more specific engine codes) and the normal European one (with all the Z-characters in place). Tempest

    Hmm, no good for decoding genuine US-spec G60s: Mine must be ¨stolen¨. Well, at least VW managed to identify my G60 :) Tempest

    Went back to the standard paper filter on my G60 many years ago, too, value the scroll inside the G-Lader too much :) Agree on the early bonnet, too, always felt the early bonnet makes the whole front look more aggressive, rather than the late bonnet which comes across as the whole front having some weird bulge in the middle that is out of place with the square and flat headlights, square and flat grille.     Enjoy the sunshine while you can, because although I don´t mind the snow, I do mind the dullness of weather here in the Midlands - not enough sunrays appearing down here. Tempest

    Led to paces closing here in Coventry, which has put a stop to tinkering on Jim´s VR today, because we had a local garage press in new bearings in the hub carriers, ready for collection since yesterday, but they decided to just close yesterday and today :( Anyway, my Type 53s are well-shielded from all the white stuff :) Tempest
