There´s a comma between the 2 parts in my admittedly short sentence, suggesting each sub-sentence is a different topic  Now try again :) My history of language teaching coming through? Sadly not for weight loss, those actually taste better than this one. Part of research, not necessarily something to discuss on this forum ;) Tempest

Good pics, nicely capturing the Corrado stand :) Tempest -
There is a Darwin Award for the above cases. I am a firm believer in that. Tempest

That's why you only go for ones with TÜV approval which are subjected to material strength tests. Have been running 30 mm spacers each side front and 50mm spacers each side rear on my Mk1 Rocco for 11 years, previous owner already had them on, sill going strong. Same on my C, where I run 6mm spacers all round, again H&R, German brand. Wouldn't touch some of the stuff on ebay ... Tempest

Indeed, great day out, reconfirming that Stanford Hall is definitely my favourite UK show. Thanks everyone for taking the effort and turning up, some really nice Rados today. Good to catch up with a few folk, too. Congrats to the concourse winner, P&J (house extension for all those trophies in order now, methinks ). Tempest

Downside with that is that you can only do it a few times, and all the softeners / solvents in the material will have evaporated (it's these coming to the surface on application of heat that re-colour the relevant item). Tempest

Came back from a hospital visit in Cambridge yesterday (first drive of the season in my C), driving back to wirk in Coventry queueing at a traffic light, there comes the unmistakable drone if de-Helmholtz-resonator'ed G60 Rado on the opposute lane, ignoring me, but still: First day out in my C and it attracts anotger C already, abd even in Coventry :) Tempest (Eric)

Oh dear, I'm still with a letting agent, too, so far so, well, not excellent, but acceptable (not had the promised regular house checks, not had the contractually defined rent increases ...). With my letting agent, the tenant finding fees are deducted from my first month rental income. Check yours. Use the contract that the letting agents have between them/you and the tenant as a template for your own contract between you and tenant. Most of it is directly transferable. Deposit should be released by letting agents on termination of contract, I would expect, money to be returned to tenant. Inland revenue: Rental income and associated costs forms a separate pool to your other income. So you can deduct any costs like rennovation, repairs, safety checks (gas, electricity), interest paid on mortgage, furniture (wear and tear) - if any was supplied - directly from your rental income, the difference being your taxable rental income. Was thinking of Antony from the SciroccoRegister, but he´s based in Nottingham, and I´m not sure whether he´s got the matching tow-vehicle. Bit too far away, but Hywell is into this sort of stuff, out of working hours that is. Tempest

60k kilometers for standard pulley, which is approc 40k miles, like Steve said. Tempest

Well done, Judith! Impressive performance, too, and great to see that it all went exactly to plan. Tempest

I´ll be thinking of you whilst I am partaking in the Historic Vehicle event on the Hockenheim Ring over in Germany this weekend, where hopefully an entry into the Guinness Book of Records can be achieved for the largest number of historic vehicles (older than 30 years) ever to make 3 parade laps on the Hockenheim Ring. Good luck and here´s hoping you will not suffer from any pains. Tempest

Good idea! Tempest -
Plus those things have expiry dates, and hence can be viewed as worthless. My German mate Dirk nearly once got done by the German rozzers for carrying an out-of-date medical box in his G60-Rado back in 2006. Tempest

I seem to be looking at the wrong sources, but BBC still talking about 14°C at best in Northampton area and rain around noon. Tempest -

Harewood House now added to the events calendar. Although it´s stuck in the events calendar as a 3-day event, post up on the CCGB forum events section to indicate whether you want to camp, otherwise most will probably turn up on the Sunday as day visitors. Tempest -
No idea , but certainly some nice looking mk1 Rocco :) Tempest
