1. Got a set of cheapo coilovers in Bingley (just down the hill from Dick Hudson's) that you can have for free if it helps.
2. Dunno which to laugh at most, seemless or youth
3. Two of the guys I work with bought Golf R's, one sold it within 6 months and the other prefers to drive his Mini. I personally think it's because my old Corrado still looks better than both and is the VW that gets the limelight (proven one day when all cars where in and the IT bloke who came in only asked about the C)
4. You only need 1 inline booster connected however 2 may work and yes I'd link to the same switched wire from your head unit. Head units often have 2 switched lives, 1 for the aerial and for the amp but either will do. Shame your not round here as I'd have wired it in for you in no time.
5. If the new base has the wire then it's more than likely an amplified base and will require a switched live.
6. There you go, I fixed it with my photoshop skills :)
7. Seen it before, possibly on here. Would look better with the front of the new Scirocco
8. Why did washing machine laugh? It was taking the p**s outta the knickers.
9. Where does the red wire go to? If it's an old feed for a boosted aerial then you don't need to link it to anything if you've now swapped for a non boosted base. I've given your plugs names 1 and 2 as per the image below. Plug 1 - I assume this goes to the inline booster but I've not seen a plug like it. Plug 2 - This is a normal aerial lead plug that either plugs directly into your radio (sometimes requiring an adaptor like tigerfish posted) or it would plug into an inline booster, which in turn plugs into your radio.
10. Chop it down bit by bit until it fits. I did this and had the sleeve that comes with the jetex welded onto the decat pipe so it's nice n neat. Remember you'll need to be able to refit a CAT for MOT time if your car was registered any time after August 92.
11. When I bought my early valver the reception was there, but crap like you seem to be experiencing. I swapped out the original aerial for a Hertz of similar design (can't recall the model but was recommended on here) with the booster in the base (I seem to recall later cars have an inline booster but don't quote me on this). Swapping my aerial/booster immediately fixed my reception issues. Before swapping an aerial, it may be worth checking the one fitted is getting 12v to it's booster by removing the rear hatch trim and gently accessing behind the head liner. If no voltage, then you may need to check your radio connections.
12. Welcome back. Never been a fan of white but gotta say the raddo looks nice in it.
13. I got 36 MPG commuting this morning as the traffic was light but may try some of the snake oil you mention. Where'd you get it from?
14. I would start by checking all fuses but the MFA, temp gauge and spoiler not working could all point at the clocks. Lots of info on the spoilers not working so deffo worth a search. Where you based?
15. Great write up and wondering when I drop you off my none working clocks for repair :)

Point out the capacitor and list the part number (if visible) for future info.

Spoiler Help

You can have one FOC if you want to see if this is your problem or something else in the clocks. I think the transistor number was found on the thread you linked up.

Spoiler Help

Hi Sanky, The transistor (which I have a few of) is as pointed out below. From memory the VR clocks use a diode not a transistor. Just read the rest of your posts and if I wasn't in Cyprus, could have helped with the working spoiler modules as I have 2 spares (both a 45 mph and 55 mph unit)
19. Probably not much call for these on here, being the smallest brakes that come on a Corrado, but someone may have a Golf or Polo and I understand they're a worthy upgrade that can fit under 14" wheels. Have carriers, callipers, pads (about a month old) and discs if required. Photograph just prior to removal. £120
20. Upgraded my brakes from 256mm to the G60 280mm setup. Plus an oil change for the old girl.
21. Disabled parking, tutt tutt
22. I suspect your looking at new clocks and would try and get some with a similar mileage if your bothered like I would be.
23. I thought it was only reds that suffered the dreaded lacquer peel, obviously not.
