1. Rear NS ABS sensor renewed last night, so yippee no more ABS light illuminating the car.

Chrome speedo rings.

No worries Chris, I've ordered some anyway so if they look chavy they'll be sold on.
3. Having fitted a K&N to mine, I agree you won't notice a difference other than intake noise. Best mod by far was fitting KR cams which allegedly gives 10-15 bhp (I have a spare set if interested), other good mod was the 50mm inlet which gives a drop in torque (I didn't notice) but lets it rev for England.

Chrome speedo rings.

Cheers, I think I'll grab a set
5. I fancy putting some speedo rings in my clocks and can't seem to find anyone who does these in the UK. Found some on ebay but don't fancy paying £30 for something that may look crap as I'm a tight Yorkshire git :) Anyone have any or know where I can get some?
6. The early and late switches are interchangeable (had both fitted at one point) I have one of Matt's offerings in my early valver and it works a treat, buy one with confidence.
7. A 2L head would just bolt on, but you'd want to keep your KR cams for more power. No idea about the CIS system.
8. I have some early cloth cards if that helps
9. My single piece 15's are 8J.....and just read these are 16's. :)
10. It's the other way that can cause issues as swapping a KR head onto a 9A supposedly needs one of the location dowels dressing down. No doubt I'll find this out if/when I tackle the job.
11. Well that's £1000 for the head including postage, lol. Actually I've no idea how to go about posting something of the weight/size of the head. I'd also be worried it would go missing in the post. I would post one if you want but dunno how much it would cost or how to go about packaging it.
12. Fitted AP's on my daily to replace some crashy cheapo coilovers and they ride much better, but are still very firm. I find they get a sweet spot in ride quality when my speed increases.
13. Get yourself a Corrado purchased. As for lack of 16v's, I use my valver daily and it's a absolute hoot to drive. One never gets bored of watching the spoiler raise.
14. Bingley West Yorkshire which means collection is unlikely if you're in Suffolk. It's heavy too so postage would cost a bit I imagine. As for price, that depends on which I sell. I've had the mildly flowed one a while and still haven't got round to fitting. I think it stands me at £175 (which I though was reasonable as the skim/valve receipt is for about £110).
15. I have in my possession a KR head that's had some flow work. It has a receipt with it for a skim and new valve. It is waiting for me to have it fitted to my daily, but I still haven't got round to it. I may be tempted to part with it but even if I fit it, I'll still have the one from my car (just dunno when this'll be). Stuart
16. I've got a spare set of KR cams if anyone is interested. Also got a set of standard 2.0 cams if anyone needs any.
17. Even MOT's don't tell the full story. My engine was rebuilt about 60K ago, but that isn't reflected in the mileage.
18. I bought some of the Bosch aero blades when I first bought my Corrado, thinking that the blades on it were shot. Swapped them and they were just the same. I later found out its the Corrado's wiper arms that are pretty useless. I recently swapped the arms for some BMW E30 arms (much cheaper than lupo arms), to which I fitted some 22" Bosch aero blades and they work a treat on this setup.
19. Sanky's got a tractor. Still I bet it's a lot less hassle than my Corrado daily.

Never tried a cheapo but at £30 it may be worth a punt. I have 2 spares Bosch units for my valver, both purchased from good old ebay when I thought mine was causing me issues (it wasn't, an air leak was). I think one of my spares is from VR as it has a slightly larger sized outlet pipe.
21. I put a strip of stick on LED's at the back sliders and it works a treat. Just popped outside to take a picture (in daylight) to show you what it looks like.
22. Just signed and it'd be good if they'll sort it before mine hits 25 (currently at 24) but no doubt the government will continue robbing me of my hard earned. The system isn't fair in the slightest. Some cars are nil tax due to emissions, yet motorbikes that have been clean for years and cause less wear to roads still cost £81 to tax.
23. I can't help either but trawling through this might. http://www.clubgti.com/showthread.php?209857-THE-1-8-2-0-16v-head-info-thread
24. The Yin has been fixed at less than £30 for a radiator, now bring on more Yang
25. They used to be for flat cap wearing grandpa's and now can only be insured by them, lol.
