1. The loom feed comes from the fuse up to the switch in the dash. From there it makes its way over/behind the glovebox and picks up its earth point on the side of the passenger foot well, by the ABS ECU. The wires then clip into the loom ties up the side of the inner sill to the other side of the lump under the seat where it splits to feed the seats (wire goes in clips, over the tunnel and the plugs go through the holes in the carpet) and the remaining relay block wiring continues up the inner sill to its final resting place. The biggest hassle of the fitting picking up a live from the fuse box.
2. Was just trying to find you a picture from when I did mine but couldn't find it. Anyway the plastic cup push fits onto the brass injector seat. Before screwing this back into the manifold there is a seal that fits over the plastic cup and seats on the flat part. When it's all screwed back into the manifold and bolted to the engine, the injectors push fit into the seats with seals (tight as a gnats chuff).
3. Mine are early switches, 93 onwards alook like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/93-95-VW-Corrado-Heated-Seat-Switch-Roller-535-963-563B-/301579078600
4. The controls switches on an early dash fit in the bottom blank under the abs light/heated rear/fog switches. When I fitted mine I had to remove the bottom blank that contained my alarm led and re-route this next to the headlight switch. Can supply a photograph at lunch if you like.
5. That's what I thought, but didn't want to commit :)
6. Picture of my relays prior to removing from the singed donor car. You may be able to work out the part numbers.
7. I've run my 2.0 valver for the last couple of years as a daily and it's been great fun. Insurance costs (I had no NCB) were the reason I picked the valver, the MPG being a bonus. Very easy to work on although my laziness usually sees me paying a mechanic. Budget can be anything but I'd worry about a sub £1000 ebay specials, although you may be lucky. Check the classified on here, they often pop up and at least have been owned by an enthusiast. Catch me on a "I need a VR6 day" and mine could be for sale, lol.
8. Seems to read them on the valver but has never found any so I can't confirm. Wayne used it with success on his VR6 I believe.
9. it's one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-OBD2-CAN-Bus-Fault-Engine-Fault-Code-Diagnostic-Scanner-Reader-U480-/131638726293?hash=item1ea6478e95:g:hz4AAOSwBahVZFfZ
10. Dunno. It's an orange Ebay special that I borrowed from Wayne, so no doubt they'll be a picture on here somewhere.
11. None at all. The scanner I've borrowed lets me clear codes, just doesn't find any on the ABS system, which incidentally has behaved again.
12. So last night I scan again for ABS faults - no codes. Also scanned for engine codes which valvers shouldn't be able to read and got a code 00527 that I've cleared before. Cleared it last night and this mornings drive has been free from ABS light. Hmmm.
13. Whilst looking for a VW specific thread for instructions regarding the fixing of the brake pedal position sensor, I did find this one regarding a Volvo item that looks similar. http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=97192&page=5
14. Thanks Ian, your link suggests I have to be logged in to see stuff but I guess it's saying they use the same part (if it turns out to be the position sensor)
15. Didn't feel a pulse on the my attempts. First 3 of so were the same - put my foot on the brake (hard pedal), turned ignition on, pedal goes soft and moves a bit until hard again, started car and ABS light on.
16. I borrowed a code reader and checked a couple of times previously but note found.
17. Seems that its the season for intermittent ABS lights on my valver. I initially wondered if I'd disturbed a sensor when doing my coilovers, but having searched and read peoples symptoms I may be swaying towards the brake pedal sensor and wondered if they are the same on both valvers and VR's with the part number 357-927-810. Any input on my symptoms would be appreciated:- Along with the sometimes on/off ABS light at start up, it occasionally comes on/off with speed bumps. I also sometimes get a strange pedal with a vibration. When it does this the pedal isn't as hard, drops further and make the vibrating or grating noise. The car still stops but needs more effort, but I obviously want to sort this. Generally the light stays off but no doubt this will worsen if something is failing.

19. I had some inpro projectors fitted with HID's at one point and IMHO I'd say the standard headlights and osram bulbs are a much better.
20. Spotted a burgundy raddo "JAK" in ASDA carpark Colne yesterday.
21. The 3rd one caught my eye....I wasn't looking for Corrado bits ;)
