Some Pics...... Engine Out: Later Powersteering Bottle Fitted: The Old Coilovers.......This is what 8 winters do to £800 worth of H&R Suspension...Fooked! Replaced with nice new shiny Koni Ones!!! Powder Coated Rear Beam with Eibach ARB's Thats all new bits for the suspension now!!! You can see the ABS Rings etc Should have the ABS Roughly fitted tomorrow! Tomorrow I'm off to the Stealers again....and then to ECP again :gag: Good Progress though :grin: :norty:

Aye A Few...My thinking is replace everything, the car never see's a winter so it shouldn't fail any more MOT's for a long time LOL!

Mine bit me big style when I took it out! Easiest is to remove the spoiler mech...makes it sooo much easier!

Bloody Hell, Took me a while to find this thread......... Well update time! Car failed it's MOT big time so thought it was time to replace the tired old bits with new bits :) So I'm treating her too: *Koni Coilovers *Eibach ARB's *Full Poly Bushes *Retro Fit ABS *New Brake Lines Throughout *2 New Fuel Pumps *G60 Top Mounts *2 x New Wing Mirror Glass *Replace Scratched Drivers Drop Glass *2.5 Fully Custom Turbo back Zorst, straight through with single rear silencer *KO4s Turbo with JBS Stg2 Remap Must be some other stuff too :clap: Motor is out ATM and most of the new Suspension is asssembled ready to fit :norty: Will post up some pics shortly

Just what I was thinking.......1.8T the thing or why not turbo your G60 lump???? I'm sure Jabba sport do a turbo kit for the G60 using an IHI VF22 turbo that easily ups the power past 300bhp!!! Better than using that expensive boat anchor called a VR6 :lol: :ignore: Or as a few others have mentioned 24V it if you're going to 6 cylinders or even R32 it! My mate has an R32 Turbo wthat has a whisker under 500bhp (once he uprates the gearbox it should safely push 600bhp) and it is stupidly fast...like lambo and porka killing performance!!!! Awesome Awesome Weapon :norty: Seriously though I'd either turbo your G60 or 1.8T it!

Have a drive of Chris's R32 JBS turbo Mk4 :clap: :grin: :cuckoo: :lol: :norty: :notworthy: Fook Me....It is devastatingly quick, pushing just shy of 500bhp, limiting factor is the box! Fook Superchargers...Turbo's all the way mate!!!!

Tried trolling the search and Nothing..google is useless :( Does anyone have any info/links to the design origins of the VR6 lump??? Somebody mentioned VW pinched it off Mercedes and I've also hears VW nicked from an old V4 lancia design??? Sure I've seen pics of an old sirrocco with a v6 fitted?? Just puzzeled why VW went with a cam chain when everything else is belt driven??? Anyone help?? Cheers Steve

Why such the hang up over service history???? It's only a book for gods sake!! So long as there are reciepts to back up the work done, the cambelt has ben changed recently etc and a general inspection (Buyers guide from here) or if you want to be really thought an AA or RAC inspection.... SH books mean bugger all, I can get you one ready stamped tomorrow if you like???

Yeah need the dimensions basically! I know it's 4x100 PCD and 57.1mm centre bore, but don't know the overall diameter and how far the PCD is set from the centre bore etc! Thought somebody might have one somewhere! Just wants some made so he can get the right thickness without having to buy lots of different ones!!!

A mate of mine wants to fabricate some wheel spacers its for a 4 x100 PCD with 57.1mm centre bore...Does anybody have like an engineering drawing/CAd drawing of one that I could mail him so he can get his workshop to make one??? Cheers Steve
